This time, we will introduce some recommended lunch spots found in the Mihagino area of Kitakyushu, where the Kitakyushu Municipal Baseball Stadium is located.
La Verde, a beloved local Italian restaurant (Kogane, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)
La Verde is located about a 5-minute walk from Kaharaguchi Mihagino Station on the Kitakyushu Monorail.
This Italian restaurant has been loved by locals since it opened in 2012.

The chef in charge is owner and chef Nakaoka, who has perfected Italian cuisine for many years.
In order to "please all our visitors," we continue to offer menus that are filling and excellent value for money.

Enjoy it with dessert! Great value for money daily pasta lunch
A great value lunch menu is available from 11am to 3pm (last orders 2:30pm).
This time I ordered the "Daily Pasta Lunch" (980 yen, 1,180 yen with a mini dessert).
The main dish is a daily pasta dish, and comes with salad, baguette, and coffee or tea.

For an additional fee, you can change the type of noodles to "Gluten-Free Noodles" (180 yen), "Fresh Pasta Fettuccine" (180 yen), or "Fresh Pasta Linguine" (180 yen).
By the way, a large portion of pasta costs an additional 200 yen.
The pasta of the day was "Bacon and Shimeji Mushroom Tomato Sauce." Even the regular portion was very filling.

The rich sauce with a great fresh tomato flavor is delicious!
It's packed with ingredients like bacon and shimeji mushrooms, so it's very satisfying.

The set salad is plentiful and the dressing is delicious. It also comes with coffee or tea after the meal for only 980 yen, which is amazing.

Plus, even with a mini dessert, it's only 1,180 yen! On this day, we also enjoyed two types of dessert: cake and coffee jelly!

The mini desserts are basically half a slice of a cake from the display case, which changes daily and is served with ice cream or coffee jelly.

It's a great deal, so I recommend ordering it with a mini dessert.
If you like sweets, be sure to check out the "Pasta & Dolce Lunch" (1,000 yen)!
The set includes a choice of seven types of pasta, one regular-sized cake of your choice (usually priced at 500 yen each), and coffee or tea. This is also popular because you can eat pasta for just 500 yen.
