A park and a stylish cafe! A popular spot for the whole family to enjoy, with plenty of playground equipment available for rental (Kurume City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.

This time, we will introduce a cafe in Kurume City that parents and children can enjoy together.

Cafe & Studio KURUMERU, a stylish cafe located in Kurume Central Park (Kurume City)

Cafe & Studio KURUMERU is located a 10-minute walk from Kushihara Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line in Kurume Central Park, which is also home to the Fukuoka Science Museum and a variety of sports facilities.

A new parking lot and rest building have been constructed and will open on the north side of the lawn square in July 2022.

The interior of the store is spacious and has high ceilings, and natural light pours in through the large windows.

It is a stylish space with a natural feel and filled with the warmth of wood.

The seats are spaced far apart, so you can relax and unwind.

Kids can also enjoy their meals in the private kids' space, where they can take off their shoes before entering.

We also offer free rental services for indoor play equipment such as Jenga, blocks, UNO, and playing cards!

You are welcome to bring your dog to the terrace seats and benches.

On nice days, we recommend taking out some products and relaxing on the benches in front of the shop.

There is a playground right in front of the house, so it's convenient to be able to keep an eye on your children from a bench.

In addition, soft volleyball, badminton, ogodisk, mölkky and other equipment for outdoor play can be rented for 100 yen for two hours.

As expected, it is located within a park, so the kids were thrilled!

Cookies and other baked goods are sold at the cash register, and you can also just order takeout.

The cafe menu is packed with items that both adults and children can enjoy, including specially made paninis and pancakes.

The cafe menu is also appealing!

The signature dish is the "Panini." There are four different types of panini, made with local ingredients sandwiched between original focaccia bread made by Kurume's popular bakery "Pain de Cuisson." They are overseen by Chef Inoue Katsunori of the popular French restaurant "Restaurant Spoon" in Tanushimaru-cho, Kurume City.

This is the most popular item, "Spanish Prosciutto and Mozzarella" (660 yen).

The piping hot panini is baked in a special hot press machine after an order is placed, and is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! In addition to prosciutto and mozzarella cheese, it contains ratatouille, a tomato sauce made with vegetables such as eggplant and peppers, and basil, giving it a luxurious taste. The melted cheese and ingredients mixed together made the kids eat it with gusto.

It has a cute round shape and is a good size that makes it easy to eat with one hand.

All drinks and paninis are available for take-out.

I ordered my favorite "Grilled Cheese Curry" (1,100 yen) which turned out to be a great choice.

The combination of a simple, strong, spicy European-style curry with melted, savory, toasted cheese is unbelievable. It's just the right amount, so you'll be able to finish it in no time.

The accompanying salad also had a delicious dressing and was the perfect palate cleanser.

The dessert is "Raw Chocolate Caramel Pancakes" (1,200 yen).

The pancake mix used is from Kyushu Pancakes, which is made with carefully selected ingredients from each prefecture in Kyushu, including wheat from Oita and red rice from Fukuoka. It's filled with plenty of chocolate. The fluffy, chewy texture lets you enjoy the chocolate to your heart's content.

It was also delicious with the accompanying passion fruit sauce to change the flavour.

Starting December 15, 2023, they will be offering a limited-time offer of "Strawberry and Condensed Milk Whipped Pancakes (with Pistachio Ice Cream)" (1,200 yen), so don't miss out on that either.

The whole family enjoyed the set of a very satisfying cafe lunch and a trip to the park, and we had a very fulfilling holiday.
