This time, we went to Sorairo, a small restaurant and tableware shop located in Tsuyazaki, Fukutsu City.

This shop offers a special "cream soda" that is available in limited quantities.

I found this at a cafe in Fukutsu City, Fukuoka Prefecture! The jiggly jelly cream soda is so dreamy!
Filled with lots of colorful jelly, it's called the "Pale-Colored Cream Soda of Summer Love" (700 yen).
What's on top of this cream soda isn't konpeito sugar, but a traditional Niigata confection called "Ukihoshi," a sweet made of arare rice crackers covered in syrup.

This cream soda will be discontinued as soon as the stock of "Ukihoshi" that the owner currently orders runs out.

The colorful, light-colored jellies floating in the soda come in four basic flavors: grape, peach, orange, and pineapple. They're very jiggly and delicious.
Besides the light-colored cream soda, the regular "Cream Soda" (600 yen) is also a popular menu item! You can choose between "Melon" or "Blue Ramune" flavor.
The Cream Soda will be available until early autumn, so please contact the store for more details.
The lunch menu, which changes weekly as a main dish, is also delicious!
This restaurant is also popular for its weekly lunch (900 yen). The main dish for the day was fried fish, and there were plenty of side dishes available!

The very tender fish meat goes perfectly with the tartar sauce! Other popular standard menu items include "Turkish Rice" (1,200 yen) and "Napolitan" (750 yen).

It all started with the owner's desire to "have people use the tableware I make to serve food and get people interested in tableware!"

The store's name was chosen with the hope that it would become a place that is as part of our daily lives as the sky we look up at every day. It would be a place that changes its expression like the color of the sky, and that people who see it will feel differently. And since the owner likes the color "sky blue," he named it "Sorairo."
