[Lawson] The cream is amazing! Three new collaborative sweets with fresh cream specialty store "Milk"
I'm Masayo Sakamoto, a writer who loves convenience store sweets.
The collaboration between Lawson and fresh cream specialty store Milk is always a hot topic.
I tried the new collaboration sweets that will be released on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, so I'd like to introduce them to you. If you like cream, this is a must-see!
1: Uchi Café x Milk MILK Roll Cake (with condensed milk sauce)
"Uchi Café Premium Roll Cake" is synonymous with Lawson sweets.
The new product released as part of this Milk collaboration is the Uchi Café x Milk MILK Roll Cake (with condensed milk sauce) (257 yen).

The dough and cream are pure white...♡
The roll cake gently encases whipped cream made from Hokkaido.

When I scooped it up with a spoon, I discovered a sauce of a slightly different color amongst the whipped cream!
There was a thick condensed milk sauce lurking inside.

Both the batter and whipped cream are light and fluffy, and you can feel them melting in your mouth the moment you put it in your mouth.
The condensed milk sauce has a rich, creamy flavor that adds a nice accent to the dish.
The smooth, milky cream and the gently sweet dough create a perfect combination. This is a dish that lets you enjoy milk to your heart's content.
2: Uchi Café x Milk MILK White Tiramisu (made with condensed milk)
This is "Uchi Café x Milk MILK White Tiramisu (made with condensed milk)" (311 yen).

As the name White Tiramisu suggests, everything except the sponge is pure white...!
From top to bottom, it consists of four layers: whipped cream, condensed milk and Hokkaido mascarpone cheese cream, sponge cake, and condensed milk and Hokkaido mascarpone cheese cream.

The whipped cream on top was milky and just the right amount of sweet. It was so delicious that I wanted to eat just that.

The mascarpone cheese cream underneath is thick and rich! The rich flavor of the condensed milk is complemented by the faint aroma of mascarpone cheese. It goes perfectly with the moist sponge cake.

When you eat it by scooping it up from top to bottom with a spoon, you can enjoy the exquisite differences in texture and sweetness of this dessert.
3: Uchi Café x Milk MILK Financier Cake
Lastly, we have the "Uchi Café x Milk MILK Financier Cake" (225 yen).

It looks like a donut, but it is actually a financier cake with milk cream filling.

The surface of the financier is coated with milk chocolate, giving it a rich milky taste!
The dough has a gentle sweetness with a nutty almond flavor and a slight saltiness, which goes perfectly with the sweet milk chocolate on top.
The milk cream sandwiched between the two has a rich flavor that brings out the richness of the fresh cream and condensed milk. By eating the whole thing together, you can enjoy the milk flavor even more.

The dough is thick, so it is filling and very satisfying.
