This time, we would like to introduce "ACT JAPAN/&G," a complex store that combines a beauty salon and a cafe, which opened on Friday, October 27, 2023.

The fact that this is a cafe and dining bar run by a popular hair salon means expectations are high.

A cafe and dining bar run by a popular beauty salon has opened in the Nakasu area! "ACT JAPAN/&G" (Shimokawabata-cho, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City)

ACT JAPAN/＆G opened on the first floor of Hakata Riverain Mall byTAKASHIMAYA in Shimokawabata-cho, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. It is a complex store with two faces: a beauty salon, ACT JAPAN, and a cafe and dining bar, ＆G.

The restaurant is located in an area facing the Hakata River and has 47 seats. There is an open terrace with a sense of spaciousness, and there are also counter seats where you can relax even if you are alone. It seems like it would be nice to relax and feel the breeze on a sunny day.

Pets are allowed on the open terrace, so it's great for stopping by on a walk.

There are bench-like seats, so it's also recommended for casual stops just for a drink.

Inside the restaurant, there is a huge speaker made from a single piece of bubinga wood, which is native to Africa. It was made by Moriyama Meiki, a lumber store in Oishiwara, Toho Village, Asakura County, and you can enjoy your meal while listening to heavy music.

Exquisite cafe menu served on the terrace

At "&G", you can enjoy the original "&G" menu supervised by chef Takahito Nishimura, who also works at "Nishimuraya". Chef Nishimura is also known for being the only Japanese restaurant to be awarded one star in the "Fusion Category" of the "Michelin Guide Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki 2019 Special Edition".

Other pizza options include pizza supervised by Chef Shimaoka Keigo, who runs Pizza Alterio, a shop selling square Roman pizzas by weight, and other carefully selected menu items.

This time, I ordered the "Salmon and Cream" (1,180 yen) from the open sandwich menu.

This open sandwich is beautifully presented, topped with sprouts and rosemary. The toasted bread has a crispy exterior and a fluffy, soft interior, making it very easy to eat.

The smoothness of the salmon and the richness of the cream cheese matched perfectly...! The set also came with a salad, which was very filling and satisfying♪

In addition to smoothies and homemade drinks, you can also enjoy COSTA COFFEE, a major British coffee brand.

The "Flat White" (580 yen) is a drink made by pouring rich espresso into smooth, finely textured milk. The fragrant taste of the coffee is complemented by the subtle sweetness of the milk, making it delicious!

Of course, you can just use the cafe, and you can also enjoy the cafe menu while you're getting your treatment at the salon, so you can relax and unwind while you wait for your treatment.

Enjoy a luxurious experience in a magical candlelit spa room

There is also a beauty salon called "ACT JAPAN" attached to the building.

There are three private rooms, including a room for families with children (1,100 yen per use, no extra charge), and a VIP room with a shampoo station where all treatments can be performed in one room (2,200 yen per hour, 550 yen extra for every 30 minutes). They also offer a variety of services, such as a free drink from "&G".
