Full of things your kids will love! A popular cafe where you can enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by nature (Taku City, Saga Prefecture)
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, we're heading to Taku City, Saga Prefecture! We'll introduce you to a stylish cafe that parents and children can enjoy together.
A must-see for families with children! "Slow Café" is a stylish cafe where you can relax and enjoy nature (Taku City, Saga Prefecture)
It is just under an hour and a half by car from central Fukuoka City. It is about 8 minutes by car from Takeo Kitakata IC on the Nagasaki Expressway.
"Slow Café" is located in a tranquil spot surrounded by rice fields.
As the name suggests, the concept of the restaurant is "a comfortable space where time flows slowly."
The stylish country-style interior of the restaurant offers large windows from which you can enjoy a view of the spacious garden and the surrounding greenery.
Children's chairs are available, so even those with small children can use the facility with peace of mind.
There are also raised tatami seating options that feel like private rooms!
There is a kids' space right in front of the raised seats, so you can dine at your own pace while keeping an eye on your children.
We read picture books and played with building blocks ♪ My daughters really enjoyed themselves.
There was a diaper changing station in the toilet.
You can bring your dog to the terrace seats.
Amazingly delicious! Lunch and dessert
"slow café" serves lunches that are good for both the body and soul, using home-grown rice and vegetables from local farms.
This is the "Gohan no Ranchi" (1,210 yen), which is only available from 11:00 to 14:00.
The set includes eight types of side dishes, seasonal vegetable salad, homemade rice balls, and soup.
Normally it comes with two rice balls, but if you only need one, you can get a 50 yen discount.
There is a wide variety of healthy side dishes with good nutritional balance.
The lineup for the day included yum nyeom chicken, quiche, gratin, soy milk tofu, etc. It's great to be able to enjoy a variety of dishes in small portions.
Yamunyeom chicken is generally made by marinating whole chicken in a sauce such as gochujang, but this dish is made by adding the sauce to light fried chicken. It's not too spicy, and even the kids enjoyed it.
This is "Curry Doria" (1,210 yen), which comes with a seasonal vegetable salad.
This "Curry Doria" was even more delicious than I expected.
This European-style curry is topped with plenty of cheese and has an egg hidden inside.
The curry itself is quite spicy, but the cheese and soft-boiled egg make it milder. The texture of the burnt parts was also excellent.
The salad is simply seasoned with just salt and rapeseed oil.
Combined with citrus fruits, it becomes a delicious dressing, and you can directly taste the flavor of the fresh vegetables.
This is the "Teri Chicken Pizza" (1,210 yen).
The combination of shredded seaweed and teriyaki chicken is a sure hit.
The sauce has a mild flavor, so kids love it too.
The pizza dough is chewy and although it's large, it's easy to eat. It's sure to satisfy both adults and children.
"Slow Café" is also very popular for its homemade desserts, such as parfaits made with seasonal fruits (all of which are apparently produced in Taku City!).
On this day, I selected the "Coffee Jelly Parfait" (968 yen).
The combination of bitter coffee jelly and sweet ice cream is addictive.
This is my personal favorite dessert!
Interact with goats and play on the playground equipment! A charming garden that will delight children
One of the attractions of "slow café" is its vast garden, surrounded by lush nature.
Inside the garden there was also a stylish general store called "pense".
The most noteworthy thing about this place is that the four goats live freely!
There is a large amount of cabbage in the enclosure, and you can feed them for free.
The kids were so excited and excited about this!
What's more, there is even a park-like space with play equipment in the garden! It's very popular with families with children.
Swings and
A nostalgic boom
There were plenty of things to do, like horizontal bars and slides.
There are a few things to note about how to spend time on the premises, so be sure to read them carefully before enjoying yourself.
It's a popular restaurant that is fully booked every day, so we recommend going early. Please note that reservations cannot be made in advance.
It quickly became one of the kids' favorite places, and we ended up staying there for quite some time.
Time passed slowly and my heart was refreshed. I recommend you to go there. (Text by Yuri-chan)
