This time, we will introduce you to a shop in Kego, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, where you can enjoy a new style of waffle.

PAPA'S PUFF STAND, a gluten-free sweets store that does not use dairy products, wheat flour, or eggs (Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)

"PAPA'S PUFF STAND" is located a 10-minute walk from Akasaka Station on the Subway Kuko Line, near Kego intersection.

Opened on March 25, 2022, this is a specialty store for gluten-free sweets that does not contain dairy products, flour, or eggs.

Although it is a takeaway shop, you can also eat on the benches in front of the shop.

The menu includes "Papa's Waffles" (600-650 yen), "Vegan Donuts" (280 yen), "Guilt-Free Ice Cream" (450-700 yen), and drinks (from 250 yen).

Perfect for eating while walking.

In addition to the paper bag shown in the photo above, they also have "waffle gift cases" (50 yen) that are perfect as souvenirs.

The waffles are carefully baked one by one after an order is placed, so if you want to enjoy a freshly baked waffle, we recommend taking a break on the bench in front of the shop.

Super huge, chewy waffles! The ultimate chewy texture is addictive

My goal for the day was to try Papa's Waffles, which has seven different varieties. I tried three of them.

This is the "Plain" version (600 yen).

My daughters were delighted with the cute waffles with their distinctive bumpy shape.

It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside and delicious.

It's not too sweet, so it would make a good snack for children.

This is "Purple Sweet Potato" (600 yen).

The vibrant colour of purple sweet potatoes is lovely ♡ You can enjoy the flavour and sweetness of purple sweet potatoes.

I also tried the limited time menu item "Black Sesame" (600 yen).

The sesame flavor and crispy texture go perfectly together. The end date of sales is yet to be determined, so hurry up!

This time I got the full size, but they also come in half sizes (450-500 yen), so choose what you like best♪

Drink menu too ♡

There is a wide variety of drinks available, including the popular "Flavored Soda" which comes in eight varieties (400 yen each).

It's so delicious and fizzy. It may be hard to tell from the photo above, but there's strawberry inside. The sweetness and sourness are just right.

"Butterfly Pea & Soda" (400 yen) is also recommended.

It's a carbonated drink made with butterfly pea, a blue herb that belongs to the legume family. It has lemon in it, and it has a refreshing taste.
