[New store in Itoshima area] A luxurious seafood bowl with outstanding freshness! A restaurant with a spectacular ocean view that is sure to be a hot topic (Oda, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City)

Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.

"Itoshima Kaisendo Futamigaura Main Store" will open in the popular Itoshima area on Friday, October 13, 2023!

I visited the venue on the first day, so I'd like to give you the latest information.

Private rooms available! A seafood restaurant with a spectacular ocean view: "Itoshima Kaisendo Futamigaura Main Branch" (Oda, Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City)

"Itoshima Kaisendo Futamigaura Main Branch" is located in Oda, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City. Although the address is in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, the restaurant offers a view of the Meoto Iwa rocks of Sakurai Futamigaura, and is attracting attention as a new spot in the Itoshima area.

Take the Showa Bus (West Coast Liner) from Hakata Station, or take the Showa Bus (Nishinoura Line) from JR Kyushu University Research and Development Center Station, get off at Futamigaura (in front of Meoto Iwa), and it is a 1-minute walk from there.

There is also parking space for about 40 cars in front of the store, so it is convenient to come by car.

There was a long line when the restaurant opened at 11am, and it was full by lunchtime.

The interior of the restaurant is based on white. The spacious floor seating can accommodate more than 70 people, and the appeal is that every seat offers a panoramic view of the Genkai Sea!

At the counter seats facing the sea, you can enjoy a spectacular view that makes you feel as if you have the sea all to yourself.

It seems like it could be used for a variety of occasions, from bringing children to casual dinner parties.

Plenty of volume! A variety of superbly fresh seafood bowls

At Itoshima Kaisendo, you can enjoy seafood bowls made with an abundance of extremely fresh seafood caught in the Genkai Sea (Kyushu and Yamaguchi), as well as Hakata specialties such as sesame mackerel, live squid sashimi, and exquisite dishes made with Itoshima vegetables.

The seafood bowl comes with chawanmushi, miso soup, a side dish, and pickles. You can choose between rice or vinegared rice, and you can also get a large portion.

This is the signature dish, "Itoshima Seafood Bowl, Regular Size" (2,800 yen).

The seafood bowl served in a tub looks beautiful and will whet your appetite.

There's a wide variety of seafood on offer, including shrimp, tuna, salmon roe, salmon, and scallops! This is recommended for those who want to enjoy a variety of flavors at once.

This is the "Ikura and Salmon Oyakodon" (2,400 yen). The thickly cut salmon melts in your mouth.

Not only is there salmon roe on top, but when you flip the generous amount of salmon over, salmon roe appears from inside too! This is an irresistible dish for salmon and salmon roe lovers.

You can choose the seasoning for your seafood bowl from two types of sweet Kyushu soy sauce or a special sesame sauce provided on the table. Personally, I liked the sesame sauce the best! The sweet sauce, which is packed with sesame seeds, goes perfectly with the seafood.

This is the "Korean Seafood Bowl (Spicy)" (2,400 yen).

Vegetables and seafood are placed on top of vinegared rice, and then topped with gochujang sauce, which is then mixed thoroughly.

I was surprised because seafood bowls are associated with soy sauce, but the strong spiciness and delicious flavor of gochujang go perfectly with the seafood...!

It would be nice to order a regular seafood bowl and a Korean seafood bowl and share them.

Other dishes on the menu include the "Black Maguro Rice Bowl" (3,300 yen) and "Otoro Rice Bowl" (4,800 yen), which are made by skilled craftsmen who purchase whole Kyushu bluefin tuna and butcher it from scratch, as well as the "Seasonal Seared Rice Bowl" (2,500 yen) made with seasonal fish.

For children's menu items, there is the "Children's Plate" (500 yen) which includes rice balls, fried chicken, and French fries, as well as the reasonably priced "Children's Noodles" (300 yen)! Even families with small children who can't eat much yet can feel free to come here.

In addition to soft drinks, there is a wide variety of drinks to please even those who like alcohol. There are three types of bottled beer (700 yen): Asahi Super Dry, Kirin Ichiban Shibori, and Sapporo Red Label. Other drinks on the menu include Kaoru Ale (draft) (580 yen), Ao (water/soda mix) (880 yen), Maker's Mark (680 yen), Suntory Kaku (water/soda mix) (500 yen), and Kodawari Sakaba no Lemon Sour (480 yen). There is also a non-alcoholic All Free (draft) (480 yen).
