Hello♪ I'm chippachapus and I love going to cafes.
This time, we will introduce a noteworthy new store that opened in Gojo, Dazaifu City on September 15, 2023!
This is a sister store of the popular cafe "Coba Cafe" in Saifu, Dazaifu City.
Opening right next to Gojo Station! "en coffee" (Gojo, Dazaifu City), a sister store of the popular Dazaifu cafe "coba cafe"
"En coffee" is located on the second floor of a building about a one-minute walk from Gojo Station (next to Dazaifu Station) on the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Line.
Look for the sign near the entrance of the building.

The interior of the store is spacious and open. Sunlight pours in through the large windows, creating a bright and cozy atmosphere.
The counter has a brick pattern, making it eye-catching and eye-catching.

There are tables and sofas for seating, ranging from two-seater seats to larger seats that can accommodate large groups, so it seems suitable for a variety of occasions.

We also have "seasonal pasta" made with luxurious seasonal ingredients! Enjoy the "Pasta Lunch Set" course
Lunch is a small course meal with pasta as the main dish.
en's set includes an assortment of appetizers, an open sandwich, soup, the pasta of the day, and a drink for 2,000 yen. You can also add a dessert for an additional 350 yen.

The "Today's Pasta" on this day came in two varieties: the classic "Homemade Meat Sauce Pasta (on a soft-boiled egg)" and the seasonal "Cold Fig, Prosciutto, and Earl Grey Pasta."
"Homemade Meat Sauce Pasta" is made with spaghetti noodles topped with a generous amount of homemade meat sauce made from domestic wagyu beef and horse meat.
They use standard, mild spices so that it can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to adults.

The chewy texture of the noodles, like fresh noodles, and the meaty flavor of the chunks of meat were a perfect match.

"Cold Fig, Prosciutto and Earl Grey Pasta" is made with thin Capellini noodles coated in a sauce based on seafood stock and lemon juice.

Figs, prosciutto, and Earl Grey may seem like an unexpected combination, but they go together well and were delicious.
The sauce was well coated with the noodles, giving it a lovely sweet and salty flavour that spread throughout the dish.

This is a set of "en's appetizer platter" and "open sandwich."

The open sandwich is made with country bread from Loop a bread, a bakery in Dazaifu City, and is topped with plenty of homemade avocado paste.
The rich yet mild flavor of the avocado was irresistible, and the bacon and garlic added a nice accent.

The appetizer platter is a style that allows you to taste a little bit of various ingredients such as salad, carrot rapée, and cake salé. The contents change depending on the season.

The "soup" on this day was made with plenty of white peaches, crispy bacon, walnuts, and olive oil.

About 10 kinds of "handmade desserts" lined up in the showcase, mainly pound cakes!
For dessert, there are about 10 types of baked goods, mainly pound cake (450 yen each).
They are lined up in a display case, and the contents change depending on the season and the owner's whim.

On this day, there was a "pound cake" that was made with special ingredients and a special cooking method to give it a moist texture, as well as two types of "cheesecake" and "gateau au chocolat." *The photo below was a special arrangement given to us for the photo shoot.

This is the "Matcha, Cream Cheese and Red Bean Cake." The flavor of the matcha goes well with the creamy taste of the cream cheese, and the red bean paste adds a nice accent.

This "Walnut and Carrot Cake" has a great texture of ingredients and cream cheese on top. It is sweet because it is drizzled with honey, and the more you chew it, the more delicious it becomes.

The "Select Drip Coffee (hot only)" (600 yen) that is paired with the sweets this time uses coffee beans from Okinawa's specialty coffee shop, "Mame Pole Pole."

There are sour medium-light roasts such as "Ethiopia," and bitter, deep-flavored dark roasts such as "Indonesia" and "Brazil." You can choose the one that suits your taste.
