Enjoy 120 minutes of luxurious all-you-can-eat premium yakiniku and freshly made sushi! A popular order buffet restaurant in Yahata Ward (Kitakyushu City)
Hello. This is Chihilog, a casual blog that provides information about Fukuoka, with a focus on gourmet food.
This time, we went to an all-you-can-eat restaurant in Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City, that has a reputation for being delicious.
"Kalbiche Orio Branch" (Miyoshino, Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City) where you can enjoy a buffet of authentic yakiniku cut in-house and freshly made sushi
"Kalbiche Orio Branch" opened in September 2019. This restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, mainly yakiniku and sushi, and is served buffet style.
They have several stores, mainly in Hiroshima, but this is their only store in the Kyushu area.
It is a 3-minute drive from JR Mizumaki Station and a 5-minute drive from JR Orio Station. It is located along National Route 3 and has free parking. It is also convenient to go out by car.
The restaurant has 33 six-person tables, for a total of 198 seats, making it very spacious.
The seats near the busy entrance are nicely equipped with doors. Kids chairs are also available, making it ideal for families.
For yakiniku, we not only use carefully selected beef, but also focus on "cutting it in-house."
Because each piece is carefully cut by a meat professional, the freshness and flavor of the meat is brought out.
The dismantling process is very impressive! It is carried out periodically, so if you would like to see it, please ask the staff.
There is a wide variety of sushi toppings, and each piece is made fresh after an order is placed!
They are proud of their unique vinegar blend and rice.
Try the all-you-can-eat "Extreme Course"!
Karubishu has three types of all-you-can-eat menu items (excluding lunch-only menu items).
There is the "Nagomi Course" which allows you to enjoy 90 dishes in total (3,278 yen for adults, 2,728 yen for those 60 and over, 1,639 yen for elementary school students, free for kindergarteners and younger), the "Takumi Course" which offers 110 dishes in total, including the four signature dishes of "Homerun Kalbi," "Straight Ball Kalbi," "Harami," and "Top Loin Steak" (3,608 yen for adults, 3,058 yen for those 60 and over, 1,804 yen for elementary school students, free for kindergarteners and younger), and the "Kiwami Course" which offers 120 dishes in total, adding "tiered platter" and other dishes to the contents of the "Nagomi Course" and "Takumi Course" (4,708 yen for adults, 4,158 yen for those 60 and over, 2,354 yen for elementary school students, free for kindergarteners and younger).
The time limit for all three courses is 120 minutes.
This time I ordered the "Extreme Course." I'll introduce what I actually ate.
Orders are placed via a touch panel. Food is brought to you from a conveyor belt installed next to your seat. Small children will also enjoy this.
There were even dishes with fireworks attached to them, which was very exciting!
Karubishu staircase
This is the "Stepped Serving of Karubishu" that is only available on the "Extreme Course."
You can enjoy six types of meat, including diced short rib, premium tripe, zabuton, top-quality skirt steak, Japanese black beef, and beef tongue.
Only one per group is allowed, so be sure to order! You can enjoy each portion of the finest meat little by little, and it's very satisfying.
Japanese beef
The "Kiwami Course" also offers all-you-can-eat "Japanese Black Beef", which has passed strict standards.
I was impressed by how tender and juicy the meat was.
Meat Parfait
Speaking of photogenic menu items, the "Meat Parfait" can be ordered with every course.
The fireworks will come floating down the lane with fireworks stuck in them, so be sure to have your camera ready!
It contains five types of meat: chicken, pork loin, skirt steak, kalbi, and loin.
Zabuton's Nictelle
This is the "Zabuton Nictelle" which is only available on the "Extreme Course".
Zabuton, a rare cut of shoulder loin with a high level of marbled fat, is stylishly presented in a cocktail glass.
It was very soft.
Straightforward Kalbi
One of the four signature dishes is the "Straightforward Kalbi." It can be ordered with the "Takumi Course" and "Extreme Course."
This is the meat found between the rib bones, and it's very tasty!
They were particular about how it was cut and it was very soft.
Homerun Kalbi
This is also one of the four signature dishes, "Homerun Kalbi." It is an extremely rare cut, with only a few hundred grams being obtained from one cow!
Even the fatty parts are full of flavor! Soft and juicy. The "Takumi Course" and "Goku Course" are all-you-can-eat options, which is great.
Salted beef tongue
"Salted Beef Tongue" is sourced from a carefully selected region. This is also a menu item exclusive to the "Extreme Course."
It was chewy and the more I chewed it the more delicious it became.
Assorted sushi and grilled eel
And don't forget the all-you-can-eat sushi!
This is the "Sushi Assortment" that can be ordered with all courses. It includes the five classic types of sushi: salmon, octopus, shrimp, squid, and tuna.
Only available with the "Extreme Course" was the "seared eel"! It was grilled right before being served, so the aroma was irresistible.
In addition, you can enjoy salmon roe, fatty salmon, and raw scallops exclusively on the "Extreme Course."
There is such a wide variety of ingredients that it's hard to choose!
Above all, the rice was delicious, and I was impressed by the quality, which I couldn't believe was for an all-you-can-eat restaurant.
Available when ordering the Takumi Course or Goku Course! "Heartwarming Autumn Feast Menu"
Until early November 2023, you can also enjoy the Heartwarming Autumn Feast Menu in the Takumi Course and Kiwami Course.
In the foreground of the photo, from left, are "Pickled Salmon with Chopped Wasabi" and "Melting Salmon Parent and Child."
This is "Sticky Salmon Parent and Child Eat with a Spoon." The combination of the generous amount of salmon roe, the melting salmon, the fluffy rice, and the sticky egg yolk was outstanding.
Meat dishes include "Seared beef ribs with truffle salt" and "Truffle-scented matured belly."
In addition, Karubishu's all-you-can-eat course includes a "choice of one dessert per person," but currently you can choose from two options in the "Heart-warming Autumn Feast Menu."
The Mont Blanc Sundae consists of crunchy flakes and coffee jelly topped with soft serve ice cream and Mont Blanc paste.
It's great to be able to enjoy a variety of flavors and textures! It was the perfect dish to have after a meal.
This is "Curitty," a cream cheese cake topped with fragrant, fluffy Mont Blanc cream.
The balance of sweetness and sourness was perfect.
We have only introduced a small part of the all-you-can-eat course. There are many more tempting dishes to enjoy to your heart's content.
It looks exciting and can be used for small celebrations. Please give it a try. (Text by CHIHIRO)
