A spectacular sea view that can be enjoyed all year round! "Perfect for a stylish beachside BBQ and dry lunch" A new attraction in Fukutsu

Hello everyone. This is Chihi Log, a casual blog that provides information about Fukuoka, with a focus on gourmet food.

Miyajihama Beach is famous for its "Mirror Sea," a spectacle where the beach reflects the sky like a mirror. We'd like to introduce you to some noteworthy facilities that have opened at the beach, where you can enjoy a resort atmosphere even in the coming season.

Miyajihama Beach opens this year! A multi-purpose facility where you can enjoy BBQ and Italian food without bringing anything: "THE PARK" (Fukutsu City)

"THE PARK" opened on July 12, 2023.

This complex includes the American BBQ restaurant BUTCHER DADDY, the course menu restaurant Nikutsakana, and the beach house HAPPY BEACH GOODS. You can enjoy American BBQ, special meals, and marine sports right on the beach.

It is easily accessible, about a 5-minute drive from Miyajidake Shrine, and there is free parking available.

The concept is "a beach house like no other."

The facility has private shower rooms as well as powder rooms exclusively for women.

The ocean stretches out beyond the window, and there are lots of people enjoying marine sports! You'll want to rush out to the sandy beach without even realizing it.

I've been there a few times, so this time I'll be focusing on the food at BUTCHER DADDY.

Enjoy empty-handed! "BUTCHER DADDY"'s "American BBQ Plan"

First of all, there is the BBQ, which can be enjoyed all year round and is the signature feature of the restaurant.

The "American BBQ Plan" (3,800 yen for adults, 2,800 yen for elementary, junior high and high school students, free for infants) is particularly satisfying, with beef (150g), pork (100g), chicken (120g), grilled vegetables, sausages on the bone and two baguettes. If you use the BBQ plan, you can also use the beach house "HAPPY BEACH GOODS" (normal usage fee is 1,500 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for elementary, junior high and high school students).

You can enjoy it for lunch (11:00-17:00) or dinner (18:00-21:00).

With this plan, the chef will grill a chunk of meat for a long time at a low temperature before serving it to you.

The meat is grilled to a fragrant finish, bringing out its natural flavor, making it tender and delicious!

Drinks are ordered at the bar counter.

All-you-can-drink soft drinks are available for an additional 1,000 yen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol is available for an additional 2,000 yen.

This time I came by car, so I ordered a non-alcoholic soda, but I was happy to see the handwritten message on the label.

In addition, there is a "Bring Your Own Ingredients BBQ Plan" (for 4 or more people, 2,000 yen for adults, 1,000 yen for elementary, middle, and high school students, free for infants) which includes a grill and utensils.

Pizza and hamburgers to enjoy at the beach are now available

In addition to BBQ, menu items such as pizza and hamburgers will be available for lunch from September 19, 2023!

Food tastes especially good when eaten while looking out at the sea!

The Neapolitan-style pizza, which is made by stretching the dough from scratch and baking it in the ENRO oven, can be baked at 400°C in one minute.

I was also impressed by the crispy, chewy texture of the dough.

Bismarck

This is "Bismarck" (1,680 yen), which is packed with prosciutto.

This tomato sauce-based dish goes perfectly with rich cheese and soft-boiled egg!

Apparently the staff also highly recommends it!

Honey Lemon

This is the dessert pizza "Honey Lemon" (1,680 yen), topped with two types of cheese, plenty of honey, and lemon.

I felt happy with the combination of gentle sweetness and sourness.

Other pizza options include "Seafood" (1,680 yen).

Miyaji Hamburger Steak

The most popular item right now is the "Miyaji Hamburg Steak" (1 piece 150g for 1,380 yen, 2 pieces 300g for 1,680 yen).

The main hamburger steak comes with salad, soup, and rice. You can also choose the number of hamburgers you want!

The meat juice will overflow.

Cheese toppings are available for 150 yen, and soft drinks can be added for 300 yen.

Miyaji Burger Set

Another popular menu item is the "Miyaji Burger Set" (1,250 yen).

This burger is made with a generous 3cm thick, 150g patty and is packed with juicy meat.

The set comes with fries, a drink and a soft drink.

Selectable Lunch Box

There is also a "Selectable Lunch Box" (1,980 yen) available for takeout.

You can customize this meal by choosing your main dish (2 out of 4 options: butcher beef, roast pork, jerk chicken, or garlic shrimp), plus rice or 2 baguettes and a drink.

This time I ordered butcher beef and garlic shrimp.

The fragrantly grilled butcher beef was incredibly tender and delicious! The garlic shrimp came with three large shrimp, and I was impressed by their freshness and rich flavor.

By the way, in October, they will be collaborating with the cafe "TOFFEE" to create a menu, and from around October 15th they will also be opening an oyster hut where you can compare oysters from different regions ("THE PARK" is run by a seafood wholesaler in Nagahama, Fukuoka, so we're looking forward to it).
