This time, we will introduce a cafe that will open in Kurume City for a limited time from Monday, October 2, 2023!
A stylish hideaway cafe open for only three months! "torinosu cafe" inside a beauty salon (Kurume City)
Torinosu Cafe will open in Rokutsukadocho, Kurume City for three months only, from Monday, October 2nd, 2023 to the end of December.
This is a hideaway-like cafe located on the 4th floor of a building with beauty salons on the 1st to 3rd floors.

The interior of the store is a natural space with a white base.
Since the owner loves birds, the restaurant incorporates many bird and nature motifs.
The center section, decorated with dried flowers and cloth, was specially made to look cute from any angle in the store.

The bird's nest motif dish is also stylish! "Baked Goods Set" with assorted handmade sweets
The menu we had this time was the "Baked Goods Set" (1,500 yen).
The baked goods platter comes with a drink (the photo shows two "baked goods sets" with one drink each).

The assortment of baked goods is served in a bird's nest-shaped dish.
All the sweets are handmade by the owner and come in four varieties - chestnut financier, leaf pie, Danish rusk, and oatmeal cookie - plus a flower-shaped marshmallow cookie on the side.

Let me introduce them one by one.
"Chestnut Financier" is, as the name suggests, a financier shaped like a chestnut.

The dough is kneaded with chestnuts and then stuffed with homemade chestnut paste and baked.
The outside was just the right amount of crispy, while the inside was moist and crumbly. The flavors of chestnut and cinnamon were perfectly combined, making it delicious.

"Leaf Pie" is a leaf-shaped pie crust with homemade apple compote and homemade lemon peel hidden inside.

The pie crust was light and flaky, with a refreshing apple and lemon flavor.

The Danish rusks are baked crispy and fragrant, and are delicious! The sweetness of the butter and sugar spreads throughout the mouth.

The "Oatmeal Cookies" had a nice crunchy texture and nutty flavor.

The "Flower Marshmallow Cookies" are accented by the texture of the mixed nuts in the middle.

The baked goods were generally light and had a gentle sweetness.

The lemonade made with homemade syrup is a must-try! Cute looking "Choose your drink"
You can choose from several types of drinks to go with your set.
The recommended drink is "Lemonade." The lemon syrup is homemade and honey is added to give it a mellow flavor.

When you mix cotton candy into lemonade, it dissolves in an instant.
The sweet and sour taste of lemon is complemented by a hint of sweetness from cotton candy, creating a refreshing flavor.

These are "Cafe Latte" and "Matcha Latte." Both are topped with fluffy milk foam (milk foam for the café latte is a free option).

Of course you can eat it as is, but we also recommend dipping baked goods in the milk foam.

The baked goods set is basically available by reservation. Open on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Sundays, and reservations are required on all days except Mondays. On Mondays, baked goods and drinks are sold separately.
The store also has a sales corner for handmade items made by the owner and staff.
