Reopened in a new location close to Hakata Station and the Canal! The original foam ramen shop "Hakata Ikkosha" produces "Hakata Ramen Specialty Shop Ko-chan Ramen Hakata Main Branch" (Hakata Station, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
Known for its "original foam-style" tonkotsu ramen, "Hakata Ikkosha" operates 67 stores in 11 countries around the world, including Hakata. "Hakata Ramen Specialty Store Kochan Ramen", which was produced by "Hakata Ikkosha" and launched in 2020, currently operates stores nationwide, mainly in Fukuoka City, in the Kanto, Tokai, and Kansai regions.
"Kachi-chan Ramen" recalls the nostalgic Hakata ramen that Yoshimura Kosuke, the founder of "Hakata Ikkosha", ate as a child, and recreates "town ramen (town tonkotsu) that is simple, you never get tired of eating it every day, and is integrated into everyday life."

The new location of the Hakata Main Store is Hakataekimae 3-chome, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. It is a 10-minute walk from the Hakata Exit of JR Hakata Station and a 6-minute walk from Kushidajinja-mae Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line.
It is located close to Canal City Hakata, making it an easy place to visit for both locals and tourists.

You buy your meal ticket from the ticket machine on the right hand side as you enter the restaurant. Water is self-service.

Light and simple! "Ramen" full of flavor
This is the "Ramen" (750 yen) filled to the brim with soup. This time, I added a "Flavored Egg" (150 yen) as a topping!

First, take a sip of the soup. The soup is full of sweetness and flavor, and has a light impression without being too strong. It has a light taste that is enjoyed by people of all ages and genders.

The pork slices are thin and large! They are so big that they cover the noodles, making for a satisfying meal.

The thin noodles, unique to Hakata ramen, are thoroughly coated with the soup, making it incredibly delicious!

After eating about half of it, I tried adding some of the spicy flavor provided on the table.
When you pour the moist "spicy" into the bowl, the soup turns red. The hot chili pepper adds just the right amount of flavor, making it twice as delicious.
