Newly opened near the canal! "Take off your shoes and relax" - a cozy cafe that everyone can enjoy (Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

Hello! I'm hicho_cafe, who introduces cafes in Fukuoka on Instagram.

This time, we will introduce a cafe that opened on September 1st, 2023.

"Café: Please take off your shoes and come in" where you can feel at home. (Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

"Café Take off your shoes and come in" opened about a two-minute walk from Kushidajinja-mae Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line.

Such an intriguing name! As the name suggests, you have to take off your shoes at the store entrance.

Once inside, you'll feel like you're visiting a friend's house! The relaxing space is vast.

The interior of the store is unified in two-tone colors, and the inorganic space gives it a Korean cafe feel.

You are free to move the cushions and tables around as you like, and you can enjoy a view of the Hakata River from the window.

A dessert menu that makes lavish use of bamboo charcoal

There are many different menu items, but I decided to try a rare dessert made with bamboo charcoal.

Black Parfait

First up is the "Black Parfait" (780 yen), which is topped with crushed cookies, panna cotta made with black sesame and bamboo charcoal, coffee jelly made with bamboo charcoal, fresh cream, black sesame ice cream, and cookies.

The little flowers on display are so cute! You'll want to take pictures right away.

Each layer had a different texture and flavor, so it was fun to eat.

Bean jam butter sandwich

This is the "An Butter Sandwich" (360 yen). The bun is made with bamboo charcoal and is filled with plenty of anko and butter.

It is topped with pink salt and when eaten with the lightly sweet bean paste, it is incredibly delicious.

Drinks are also available for take-out. Pictured is an iced Darjeeling (520 yen).

Don't miss the hearty burgers!

This is the "Black Burger" (780 yen), a hamburger on a jet black bun made with bamboo charcoal.

It's packed with lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheddar cheese, a patty, and hash browns, making it a very filling sandwich that's perfect for lunch.

The bar is open from 7pm!

The bar is open in the evening and serves alcoholic drinks and food that goes well with them.

The interior of the store is bathed in projector light, creating a completely different atmosphere than during the day.
