This time, we will introduce some child-friendly restaurants in Buzen City.
A must-see for families with children! We'd really like to keep it a secret! A log cabin restaurant where you can feel the warmth of wood: "Teppan Dining Chio House" (Buzen City)
Teppanyaki Dining Chio House is a log cabin restaurant that opened on March 21, 2023 and is a hot topic in Buzen City.
It is a 6-minute walk from JR Nippo Main Line, Unoshima Station. From Kitakyushu city, it is about a 50-minute drive via the Higashi Kyushu Expressway.

I visited the restaurant after hearing that you can enjoy juicy hamburger steaks served on a hot iron plate.
When you enter the store, you'll be greeted by a warm wooden space that will make you want to take a deep breath. There are two floors, so you can sit on either side.

Orders can be made using the touch-screen ticket machine on the first floor. Cashless payment is also available.

There are table seats on the first floor, which is filled with natural light.

On the second floor, you have to take off your shoes before entering.
There is a baby gate, so crawling babies are safe.

Just like a log house! It's so comfortable you'll want to walk around barefoot.
The seats are spaced far apart, so even families with children can relax and unwind! The ceilings are high, giving the place an open feel.

There was Wi-Fi so it was a comfortable stay.

This is the "Hamburger & Steak" (2,100 yen). You can choose from demi-glace, Japanese, and Italian sauces, and I chose the Japanese. It was brought to me on a hot iron plate, sizzling away. It even came with all-you-can-eat rice and soup.

The signature hamburger steak is handmade using Japanese beef, domestic beef, and domestic pork. When you cut it open, the meat juices oozed out and it was absolutely delicious.
It goes perfectly with the refreshing Japanese-style sauce, which is made with plenty of grated daikon radish.
The steaks were all quite large, so they were filling and very satisfying!
The rice, which can be had as many times as you like, is a brand of rice from Kumamoto called "Sho no Yume." When you pour the remaining sauce over the rice, it's so delicious that you can eat as many bowls as you want.

On this day, there were two types of soup: "Potato Potage" and "Egg Soup." Refills of these are also free.

You can also add all-you-can-eat bread for an additional 200 yen.

This is the "Twin Burger" (1,380 yen), which comes with two large hamburgers. Of course, it comes with all-you-can-eat rice and soup. You can also choose the sauce for each, and this time I went for the Japanese style and demi-glace.

I was very satisfied to be able to eat two hamburgers with different sauces at once. The sweet and rich demi-glace sauce went well with the accompanying vegetables.

In addition to the main dish of hamburger steak, the side dishes include fries, sausages, juice and other things kids love!

Although it was quite filling, my daughters ate it all in no time. I think it was really delicious.
It was so comfortable that we ended up staying for quite some time. At the end, we put the toys back in order in the kids' area and tidied up.

It has become one of the children's favorite restaurants, to the point that they even say, "I don't want to go home yet!"
Other lunch options include "Hamburger Steak" (980 yen), "Beef Tendon Curry Steak" (1,280 yen), and "Cheese Fondue Steak" (1,200 yen). At night, the restaurant transforms into a dining bar with a different atmosphere.
