[Near Kokura Station] One bite and you'll be sure to come back! A popular sweets shop's exquisite new soft serve ice cream (Kyomachi, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love chocolate and ice cream.

This time, we will introduce a wonderful sweets shop located in Kyomachi, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City.

Kokura Fruits Shunka Suzuran (Kyomachi, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City) where you can enjoy fruit daifuku, fruit skewers, and soft serve ice cream

Kokura Fruits Shunka Suzuran, which opened on July 28, 2022, offers fruit daifuku, fruit skewers, and soft-serve ice cream.

It is a 7-minute walk from JR Kokura Station and close to Kokura Izutsuya.

There are currently 18 varieties of fruit daifuku (the types and contents change depending on the season and what's in stock). On the day I visited, there were varieties such as "Strawberry" (400 yen), "Chestnut" (300 yen), "Fig" (751 yen), and the weekend-only "Matcha Strawberry" (450 yen).

Both take-out and eat-in (four seats inside and onebenchoutside) are available.

Cute and delicious! A wide variety of soft serve ice creams

What I wanted that day was to try the 12 different kinds of soft serve ice cream (500-800 yen). I tried the three new chocolate flavors that were introduced this summer.

They look very cute, and lining up all three makes for a great photo effect.

It has a refreshing taste and a great minty freshness! Irresistible for chocolate mint lovers!

My kids love Oreos, so they ate them up in no time (laughs).

Rich and milky soft serve ice cream topped with plenty of chocolate sauce and bananas ♪ It's sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children.

I love the combination of black (chocolate) and pink (strawberry), so it was irresistible! The balance was perfect and delicious.

For our chocolate-loving family, these were all the best!

Until the end of September 2023, "Night Ice Cream" will be available only on Fridays and Saturdays (cancelled in case of rain). Normally, the store is open until 7:00 p.m. and sales of soft serve ice cream end at 6:30 p.m., but on this day, you can order soft serve ice cream until 10:30 p.m. It's a great way to finish off a night of drinking.

The owner is very ambitious and the menu is constantly expanding, so we'll be keeping an eye on him in the future!
