This time, we will introduce a wonderful cafe that opened in Isei-gaoka, Yahatahigashi-ku, Yahata City on July 1, 2023.

A relaxing space filled with the aroma of aromatherapy ♡ The extremely cozy cafe "ChouChouCalin" (Iseigaoka, Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City)

ChouChouCalin is located a 10-minute walk from JR Honjo Station, near the University of Occupational and Environmental Health Hospital.

Look for the drink menu sign written in hiragana.

The store's name comes from the French words "Chou-Chou" meaning "favorite" and "Calan" meaning "place."

With the hope that it will become your favorite place, it is scheduled to open on July 1, 2023. There is a lash extension salon on the second floor, and the first floor has been turned into a cafe for drink service purposes.

The interior of the store is tastefully decorated with Asian decor, and it's stylish wherever you look!

In addition to the "Lunch Menu," there is a "Dessert Menu" with items such as the "Chiffon Cake" (200 yen) and "Two Kinds of Cake" (350 yen / photo below), as well as a "Drink Menu" with a wide selection ranging from 200 to 400 yen in price. All of them are reasonably priced, which is great!

Hello from inside the basket! In stark contrast to the Asian resort-style interior, the food is purely Japanese. *The menu changes monthly.

It reminds me of my mother's cooking at home, somehow it feels nostalgic.

In addition to rice balls, fried chicken, salad, and miso soup, there are a whopping seven different types of small side dishes lined up.

The side dishes for the day were pickles, stir-fried burdock, nametake mushrooms, shrimp and broccoli, glass noodle salad, boiled eggplant, and bamboo shoots and wood ear mushrooms. They are not only good for the body, but also warm and comforting to the soul.

The contents of the side dishes change depending on the time, so you'll definitely want to order this again and again.

The staff were very kind and the atmosphere was comfortable and charming, so much so that I ended up staying there for a while!
