A very popular restaurant that has just arrived in Kyushu! Enjoy exquisite Italian food in a stylish space filled with greenery (The Outlet Kitakyushu)

This time, we will introduce a wonderful cafe surrounded by greenery in Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City.

The first in Kyushu! A stylish cafe surrounded by plants: "FARMER'S KITCHEN Kitakyushu" (Higashida, Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City)

THE OUTLETS KITAKYUSHU opened in April 2022 on the site of the former Space World.

Located on the premises is the Farm UNIVERSAL KITAKYUSHU, a green shop and cafe restaurant, FARMER'S KITCHEN Kitakyushu, the first Kyushu store opened by the Farm UNIVERSAL, one of the largest garden centers in the Kansai region with branches in Tokyo, Chiba, and Osaka.

FARMER'S KITCHEN Kitakyushu is located next to the Farm UNIVERSAL KITAKYUSHU, so you can enjoy the wide variety of greenery on your way to the store.

There are so many wonderful things to see, such as garden trees, seasonal flower seedlings, ornamental plants, cacti, and rare succulents, that it gets me excited! It also gave me some ideas for my interior design, and I couldn't contain my excitement.

The interior of the store is filled with potted plants as far as the eye can see, all the way up to the ceiling! Natural light pours in through the large windows, making it very relaxing.

It's a stylish space that looks picturesque no matter where you look. Chairs for children are also available, so even those with small children can use it with peace of mind.

By the way, the waiting room was also nice. I was able to spend the time there without getting bored as I could look at the plants.

Here, you can enjoy Italian cuisine made with plenty of fresh seasonal vegetables, with the themes of "ENJOY THE SEASON" and "Eat Beauty Healthy."

This time I tried the summer limited menu (scheduled to be available until the end of August 2023).

The signature dish is pizza baked in a stone oven (served from 11am).

This is the "Lemon-scented American Cream Pizza with Spear Squid, Shrimp, and Zucchini" (1,600 yen).

The Americana sauce is packed with the flavor of shellfish and is topped with a generous amount of spear squid, small shrimp, zucchini, and mizuna.

The sauce has a mild flavor that my kids love. The dough is also soft and chewy, so even though it's large, it's easy to eat.

The pizza menu changes with the seasons, using ingredients that are in season, and the classic "Margherita with Italian Mozzarella Cheese and Fresh Basil" (1,450 yen) is also available.

This is the curry-flavored "Minced beef and paprika curry cream spaghetti" (1,480 yen), perfect for summer.

Bell peppers, green beans, and purple onions add color, and fried onions add texture. The main ingredient is cream sauce with a hint of curry. It's not too spicy, so it was a big hit with the kids too.

This is the "Eat Beauty Healthy Salad" (1,450 yen), which is enough for two people.

The contents change with the seasons, but this is a popular dish. The summer menu was a sumptuous affair, with plenty of vegetables, white fish escabeche, roast pork, seafood marinade with grapefruit dressing, and kiwi, prosciutto and mozzarella cheese in herb oil.

The dressing was a light white vinegar flavor, and the meat was also delicious with balsamic vinegar.

It was a very satisfying salad that could also be served as a main course.

This is "Summer Jelly Blue Lemonade" (550 yen). It's a carbonated lemonade made with butterfly pea.

It has a light taste and is extremely refreshing! The texture of the jelly is addictive.

This time we introduced them as individual items, but be sure to check out the great value "Weekday Only Lunch Set" (2,000 yen) available from 11:00 to 15:00. It comes with a mini salad, soup, and drink along with the daily pizza, daily pasta, or daily risotto.

From 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 18:30, you can enjoy the slightly more luxurious "Weekday Only Short Course" (3,500 yen). This includes salad, soup, pizza focaccia, a choice of pasta or risotto, a daily main dish, a choice of dessert, and a drink, allowing you to enjoy the restaurant's proud flavors.

Italian food made with colorful fresh vegetables is not only delicious, but also vibrant and exciting. And you can enjoy it in a stylish space filled with greenery!

I go to many restaurants, but this is the first time I've been to a restaurant that satisfies me in every way: the taste, appearance, value for money, and atmosphere of the restaurant. I had a blissful time.
