The sense of guilt is irresistible... ♡ 4 "collaboration products" between Lawson and a fresh cream specialty store
I'm Mirai, a writer who loves sweets.
Lawson has many collaborations with famous stores, and their sweets and bakery products are highly acclaimed for their high quality and deliciousness every time they are released. They are often a hot topic on social media.
This time, we will introduce two new prepared breads and two bakery products supervised by "Milk," a fresh cream specialty store that is particular about the origin, manufacturing method, and composition of the cream. If you like sweet things, be sure to check it out!
1: It's like a dream! "MILK Supervised Plenty of Fresh Cream Sandwich"
First up is the "MILK Supervised Plenty of Fresh Cream Sandwich" (343 yen), which has a striking pure white appearance. It is a simple sweet sandwich filled only with whipped cream made from fresh cream produced in Hokkaido.
It feels heavy when you hold it in your hand, and is filled with so much soft cream that it almost spills out.
I excitedly took a bite, and the bread was fluffy and the cream was light and smooth. The slightly salty bread and the rich milky whipped cream complemented each other perfectly.
The luxurious taste was irresistible for those who love fresh cream!
2: The synergistic effect of Pao dough and whipped cream! "Fluffy white cream sandwich supervised by MILK"
Next up is the "MILK Supervised Fluffy White Cream Sandwich" (257 yen), which is a sandwich of whipped cream so much that it almost spills out, between steamed bun-like bao dough.
I was captivated by the visual appearance that seemed like the sandwich was not completely sandwiched.
The cream is whipped using fresh cream from Hokkaido, the same as in the first cream sandwich introduced above.
It has a light texture that spreads softly in your mouth and melts in an instant.
Combined with the slightly salty pao dough, it's not too sweet and has a refreshing aftertaste! I was enjoying the chewy texture of the pao dough and the taste of the cream, and finished it in no time.
Of course, you can eat it with a fork, but it would also be good to scoop up the cream with a pao.
3: Full of milk flavor! "MILK Melon Bread"
Next up is the "MILK Melon Bread" (149 yen), which is cute and has a rare white color for a melon bread.
The outside is crispy and the inside is moist and fluffy, creating a fun contrast in texture. It's so delicious that you'll find yourself eating just the bread.
When you cut it in half, it's filled with light, refreshing fresh cream and plenty of smooth, rich milk custard cream!
The gentle sweetness of the dough is accented by two types of cream, making it a treat you'll never tire of.
4: Very filling! "MILK Choux Whipped Bread"
Lastly, we have the "MILK Choux Whipped Bread" (149 yen).
The moment I opened the package, I was enveloped in the aroma of fragrant, sweet dough, and my expectations were high! Another attractive feature is its size, which is so large that I could almost hide my hand inside.
The thin bread dough has a strong buttery flavor and is topped with powdered sugar.
The inside is packed tightly with rich, milky cream, making it just like a cream puff!
The balance between the smoothness and rich cream is exquisite! I was very satisfied with both the volume and the taste.
The products introduced this time are supervised by the fresh cream specialty store "Milk", so you can enjoy the difference in cream depending on the product. If you are interested, please check it out at your nearest "Lawson". (Text by Mirai)
