Fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth fresh donuts! A new bakery in the Itoshima area with an extraordinary feel (Kyudaishinmachi, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City)

This time, we will introduce a rare bakery located in the currently popular spot, "Ito Lab+".

Bakery & Flower Chandelier store "Eccentric" opens long-awaited second store following Moji! (Kyudaishinmachi, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City)

"Ito Lab+" is a complex located about 5 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot from "Kyushu University Ito Campus".

If you go further into the Kyushu Ito Tsutaya Bookstore located in that corner, you will come across the luxurious atmosphere of Eccentric.

This bakery is a rare collaboration with "STOCKROOM," a store specializing in dried flowers and chandeliers, where you can purchase the "flower chandeliers" displayed inside the store.

This is the second store, following the Akarenga Place store in Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City.

If you find a flower chandelier with a design you like, you can receive it within one to one and a half months after ordering.

A variety of fluffy and chewy breads

The store is filled with a wide variety of delicious-looking breads, from sweets to savory dishes.

The great thing about this shop is that all the breads are large and filling.

Bread with "high hydration" in the name is one that contains more than 70% moisture.

They are baked using a low-temperature, long-term fermentation method, which gives them a crispy outside and a moist, chewy texture inside.

There are two types of melon bread: the simple "Melon Bread" (220 yen) and "Chocolate Melon Bread" (230 yen).

The outside is crispy and the inside is soft and fluffy. It would be fun to buy two and compare the taste.

You can also eat the bread you buy at the store in the Art Lounge at Kyushu Ito Tsutaya Bookstore, surrounded by books.

On this day, I purchased the most popular "Angel Fresh Donut" (250 yen), the recommended "Orange Chicken Sandwich" (550 yen), and "Iced Cafe Latte" (400 yen).

"Angel Fresh Donuts" are topped with a generous amount of pure white sugar that is as thick as angel wings.

The fluffy dough was filled with plenty of whipped cream and it melted in your mouth.

The chicken in the "Orange Chicken Sandwich" is large, juicy fried chicken pieces made to go perfectly with the bread.

The sweetness of the orange and the crunchy texture of the purple cabbage combined to create a very satisfying flavor.

The bittersweet "Caffe Latte (Iced)" has a rich milk flavor and goes perfectly with the bread.

If you order takeout, you can have your order placed in a lovely paper bag with a chandelier design for an additional 100 yen.

There is also a stamp card that gives you 1 point for every 1,000 yen you spend (valid for 6 months from the date of issue). With 10 stamps you get 200 yen off, with 20 stamps you get 300 yen off, and with 30 stamps you get 500 yen off. It seems like it would be fun to go through the card and find your favorite bread.
