This time, we will introduce some hidden lunch spots that are not well known.
Open to the public! "ITRI ITO" Italian restaurant located in Kyushu University's Ito Campus (Motooka, Nishi-ku, Fukuoka)
"ITRI ITO" is an Italian restaurant located inside Kyushu University's Ito Campus.
Enter Shiiki Auditorium and go up the stairs and you will see the shop.

Amazingly, even people who aren't affiliated with the school can use this restaurant!

Lunch includes a choice of main course and an unlimited buffet!
The lunchtime menu from 11:00 to 15:00 (last order 14:30) is a great deal with a choice of main dish and unlimited buffet time.
For the main dish, you can choose from "Carbonara with bacon homemade at the Kyushu University Faculty of Agriculture Farm" (1,500 yen), "Omelette Burger" (1,800 yen), or a monthly changing menu (in June 2023 it will be "Boscaiola" (1,500 yen)).
I chose the "Omburger" because of its beautiful shape.

You can also add "rich cheese sauce" for an additional 200 yen.

If you cut a slit in the surface and open it to the left and right, you'll find a soft, runny, half-cooked egg!

Juicy hand-kneaded hamburger steak with rich demi-glace sauce and soft omelette on top.
Combined with the rich cheese, it was a very satisfying dish.
A colorful buffet where you'll want to try everything!
The buffet has a wide variety of items, including salads, chicken nuggets, and chicken breast gazpacho. You can enjoy this for an unlimited amount of time, which is great!

Inside the cute picnic basket was some soft, chewy, handmade bread made specially for Itoriito.

Don't miss the menu items that are unique to university campuses, such as salad made with tomatoes grown at the Faculty of Agriculture.

The buffet also has a dessert corner where you can combine your favorite ice creams and toppings to create your own dessert.

I chose vanilla and kiwi ice cream topped with mandarin oranges and chocolate crunch. It was a refreshing drink that was perfect for ending my lunch.

The buffet menu changes frequently so that customers never get bored of the food.
