Enjoy authentic flavors in style! An authentic Vietnamese restaurant with a popular afternoon tea (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)

Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.

Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City is a popular spot that opened fully on June 8, 2023. This time, we will introduce LOTUS PALACE Daimyo, an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that has newly opened on the second floor of the commercial building, Bio Square.

From elegant afternoon tea to dinner, you can enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a variety of styles.

Opening in Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City! Authentic Vietnamese restaurant "LOTUS PALACE Daimyo Branch" (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Lotus Palace is operated by P4 Co., Ltd., which operates Vietnamese restaurants mainly in Tokyo. This is the second restaurant they have produced in Fukuoka, and they also have one in JR Hakata City's Kuten.

The interior of LOTUS PALACE Daimyo store has a modern, bright and open atmosphere. The spacious sofa seats are perfect for a girls' get-together.

Enjoy the charm of Vietnam!

At this restaurant, you can enjoy a variety of Vietnamese cuisine, including Hanoi cuisine from the north of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh City cuisine from the south, and food eaten at street stalls and Vietnamese homes.

Chef Le Quan, who also served as chef at the long-established Hotel Majestic Saigon in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is said to be recreating the authentic taste!

There is also a wide variety of menu items to suit modern lifestyles, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.

They also serve locally produced dishes using ingredients unique to Kyushu, such as Kagoshima pork, Nagasaki wagyu beef, and Itoshima pork.

An array of tempting dishes using seasonal ingredients are on offer.

A luxurious "Chef's choice course"

This is the recommended "Chef's Recommendation Course" (6,600 yen per person *Image shows two servings). This is the dinner menu available from 17:00.

A hot appetizer: fried cha joe spring rolls.

Vietnamese food is strongly associated with fresh spring rolls, so this was my first time trying fried spring rolls. They were packed with ingredients and very filling.

This is the seafood dish "Fried soft-shell crab coated in rice flour and served with lemon salt."

It's served in the shape of the crab, so it looks great! It has a crispy texture, and you can eat the whole thing.

My favorite is the dessert "Rich Mango Pudding."

As the name suggests, the mango flavor is rich, with a sticky texture and a mouth-filling taste that exceeds expectations! It was a very satisfying dish that allowed us to enjoy the authentic taste.

For lunch, available from 11:00 to 16:00 (17:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), you can enjoy dishes such as the "Saga Arita Chicken Faucet" (1,980 yen), "Bun Bo Hue Set with Nagasaki Wagyu Beef and Roasted Pork" (2,200 yen), and "Vietnamese Porridge Set" (2,200 yen).

Vegan afternoon tea "LOTUS TIME" - limited to 10 per day

From 14:00 to 16:00 (17:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays), you can enjoy the vegan afternoon tea "LOTUS TIME" (5,280 yen), with only 10 available per day.

The extensive lineup includes homemade ché (a classic Vietnamese sweet), mango pudding, baked goods created under the supervision of "Vegan and gluten-free Soy Chocola," which has a store in Fukuoka, and vegetable spring rolls.

"Rose Bud Tea" is apparently made using roses imported from Vietnam.

The aroma of roses filled my mouth and I was able to spend an elegant time.
