A popular Harajuku store has arrived in Fukuoka! A new experiential cafe where bear paws come out of small holes (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka)
Hello♪ I'm chippachapus and I love going to cafes.
This time, we will introduce ANAKUMA CAFE Daimyo branch, which opened in a back alley in Daimyo on April 29, 2023!
The second branch of the popular Harajuku, Tokyo experience-based cafe "ANAKUMA CAFE" opens in Fukuoka (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)
ANAKUMA CAFE Daimyo branch is a takeout specialty cafe located in Kon'yamachi Yokocho in Daimyo, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.
This experiential cafe is so popular in Harajuku, Tokyo that people often line up to visit, and the Daimyo store will be its second location.
Once you enter the small entrance that resembles a cave...
The space spreads out, making you feel as if you are in a forest.
Apparently there are seven "bears" working here, and "bear paws" randomly pop out of a big hole in the wall of the shop.
All ordering and product pick-up is done here.
Let's try it out right away!
It's exciting from start to finish ♡ What kind of "bear paw" will come out of the hole...?
First, fill out the order form while looking at the menu.
When you've finished writing and rang the bell, a bear's paw will come out of the hole and you can hand it over to him.
After a short wait, a drawer next to the hole will open and you can put your money in to complete your order (your change will be placed in the drawer and will come out).
While you wait for your item, you will receive one coin per order.
You can use this coin to spin the gachapon machines in the store and win products from A to G, tickets, stickers, and more.
The photo shows the G prize, a "staff sticker," of which there are apparently eight types.
When the product is finished, a bell will ring and the bear will hand it to you through the hole.
Currently, they only have a drink menu. The photo shows a "Cafe Latte" (1,300 yen) ordered in an "ANAKUMA BOTTLE" (drink price + 800 yen).
Anyway, the bear's paws were so cute and I was soothed.
Besides handing drinks to customers, you can also high-five, shake hands, and even get a head pat. I had a really fun time.
There are several drinks on the menu! The popular "Kuma Bottle Coffee" is a must-try!
We'll also introduce some other drinks on the menu.
From the left, "Caffe Latte" (1,300 yen) and "Honey Banana Kumapuccino" (1,500 yen) are "ANAKUMA BOTTLE" (drink + 800 yen).
The "Honey Banana Kumapuccino" was a drink that spread with the flavor of milky cream and the sweetness of honey.
The hats and clothes worn by ANAKUMA BOTTLE are typically green, and in the future there are plans to release limited edition seasonal items.
This is "ANAKUMA COFFEE" (1,200 yen).
The coffee used is from environmentally friendly beans, and has a light flavor with a fragrant aroma of the beans.
This is "Caramel Kumapuccino" (1,500 yen).
It was a cute-looking drink that combined caramel latte with cream and bear cookies.
The "Rock Paper Scissors Tournament" is being held for a limited time!
The "Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament" is currently being held for a limited time. If you win the rock, paper, scissors tournament against the bear, you will receive a ticket for a free cup of "ANAKUMA COFFEE" or "ANAKUMA TEA."
You can try rock-paper-scissors once per order.
This cafe is like an amusement park that can be enjoyed by both adults and children.
Please come and meet the various bears! (Text by chippachapus)
