Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City recently had its full opening on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

This time, we will introduce "Park South Sandwich FUKUOKA"!

The first Kyushu location! Hiroshima-based sandwich cafe "Park South Sandwich FUKUOKA" (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Park South Sandwich, a popular cafe in the heart of Hiroshima, has arrived in Kyushu for the first time!

Based on the concept of "a hub where people can meet," you can enjoy to-go style sandwiches, home-roasted coffee, and domestic craft beer.

The interior of the store, with the kitchen and cash register located in the center, has a chic atmosphere.

In addition to the five box table seats, there are also wall seats and counter seats that are easy for one person to use.

The chairs are made from wood and are modeled after park benches, giving them a stylish and warm feel.

You can feel the nature through the large windows that cover the entire wall, and enjoy the open atmosphere.

The cross-section is beautiful and mesmerizing ♡ A sandwich packed to the brim

The signature sandwiches displayed in the display case above the counter are made with whole wheat bread and are filled with so many fillings they look like they might spill out.

The combination of fresh vegetables and ingredients is carefully selected to create a satisfying, large-sized meal. It is colorful and beautiful, and you'll want to take a photo of the cross-section.

Other unusual menu items include "Bang Bang Chicken" (600 yen) and "Roast Pork with Mentaiko and Takana" (600 yen)!

In addition to the standard items, there will also be monthly specials.

On this day, I had the standard menu item, "Chicken Cutlet with Perilla Fragrance" (600 yen).

The whole wheat bread with the crust left on has a fluffy texture. It goes perfectly with the crisp purple cabbage and juicy, filling chicken! It's very filling, and even just one is enough to satisfy you.

Be sure to check out the "picnic & park" picnic box (1,350 yen), which comes with your choice of sandwich, coffee, fries, and soup.

It comes in a stylish bag so it's easy to carry around, and it would be nice to enjoy it leisurely on the grassy plaza in the center of Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City.

On weekdays, the "Morning Set" (880 yen) is available only from 8:00 to 11:00. It includes your choice of sandwich, coffee, and yogurt, making it the perfect morning snack.

Specially selected original brand coffee

Their original brand coffee "24/7coffee & roaster" is also a proud product. The beans roasted in-house are used up within a week, resulting in a fresh, fruity taste with less bitterness.

Although it is a TOGO style, coffee is not prepared in advance, and each cup is carefully brewed after an order is placed.

There are four types available: "Shirogane (light roast)" (Small size 420 yen / Medium size 530 yen), "Konjiki (medium roast)" (Small size 420 yen / Medium size 530 yen), "Shakudo (dark roast)" (Small size 420 yen / Medium size 530 yen), and "Seasonal Coffee" (Small size 650 yen / Medium size 750 yen).

On this day, I selected the recommended "Shirogane (light roast)". It has just the right amount of acidity and is easy to drink, so even coffee novices can enjoy it.

Enjoy craft sandwiches and craft beer for dinner!

This location is also open for dinner for the first time.

A slightly more luxurious "craft sandwich (hot sandwich)" is available exclusively during dinner time from 5pm onwards.

The menu includes a variety of dishes such as "Roast chicken scented with Japanese pepper" (980 yen), "Garlic shrimp and avocado" (1,100 yen), "Roast pork and mentaiko takana" (1,050 yen), and "Prosciutto, figs, and Camembert" (1,380 yen).

One of the most notable items is "Park South Sandwich's Steak Sandwich" (light 100g - 1,480 yen / standard 150g - 1,680 yen / grand 200g - 1,880 yen).

The crusty bread is baked to order and the tender, juicy steak is sandwiched between it. It's a very special dish.

The perfect accompaniment to these craft sandwiches is craft beer sourced from various regions.

The beer cans lined up in the display case are all unique in design, making you want to buy just the one! They are available for purchase all day, not just during dinner time.
