This time, I would like to introduce you to a store that is perfect for gifts for special occasions.

Hana Hana, a chiffon cake specialty store located in a back alley in Akasaka (Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)

Hana Hana is a takeaway chiffon cake shop located just past the Akasaka 2-Chome intersection on Keyaki Street, just past the Akasaka Elementary School turning point.

The shop's blue door stands out against its white walls.

The store is filled with an array of attractive products, including chiffon cakes and other baked goods.

The owner used to be a horse riding instructor.

The store was decorated with lots of stuffed horse toys and ornaments.

The name of the shop was taken from the name of a horse that the owner was in charge of while working as an instructor.

A wide variety of chiffon cakes

"Chiffon Cake" (400 yen) comes in 10 different flavors - plain, lemon, orange, Earl Grey, banana, coffee, chocolate, black sesame, matcha, and strawberry - and several different flavors are on display each day.

The "Cream Sandwich" (500 yen), a chiffon cake filled with plenty of cream, also looks delicious.

Apparently it's also possible to choose the flavour of chiffon cake you want to have made.

For special occasions, create a one-of-a-kind decorated cake♡

With a reservation up to one week in advance, you can choose the flavor of chiffon cake, the type of cream (animal fresh cream, plant-based soy cream), and the color of the ribbon (pink, light blue, white, red) to order your own original decorated cake.

The cakes come in three sizes: 4.5 (2,300 yen), 6 (3,600 yen), and 7 (4,700 yen).

We recommend adding an additional topping of "icing cookies" (from 300 yen) to make it even cuter.

I ordered a birthday cake.

I showed her a picture of my dog and asked her to make an icing cookie topping like this! She made an identical cookie for me.

The chiffon cake has a fluffy texture and a gentle sweetness. It is topped with cream and seasonal fruits.

It's so delicious that one person can eat a whole one.

In addition to celebrating birthdays, many people also order "gender reveal cakes" which allow them to surprise their baby's gender, as well as cakes to celebrate their child's 100th day since their birth.

You can also add a candle for an additional 100 yen.

You can also purchase undecorated "whole-sized chiffon cakes" (4.5 size: 1,200 yen, 6 size: 2,400 yen, 7 size: 3,200 yen), so you can have fun decorating them to your liking at home.

You can also order just the "icing cookies" (reservations must be made one week in advance). They are so cute, they are sure to be a hit as gifts for 60th birthdays, baby showers, and weddings.

Be sure to check out our homemade enzyme juice that has been carefully aged over time.

In addition to baked goods, they also sold "Enzyme Juice" (700 yen).

After repeated fermentation and aging for 3 to 4 months, a raw juice syrup rich in enzymes is produced.

When I visited, there were three flavors available: lemon, mixed berry, and pineapple, and I chose the lemon one.

You can have it mixed with either water or carbonated water, but since it was a hot day, I decided to have it mixed with carbonated water for a refreshing drink.

The lemon flavour was strong and it had a refreshing taste that is perfect for the coming season.

The strawberry enzyme syrup is currently being matured and will be on sale from around July.
