This time, we will introduce you to a wonderful restaurant with a unique building design.

Ristorante Espoir, a castle-like restaurant located in the countryside of Kahara Town (Tagawa District)

Ristorante Espoir opened on April 26th, 2018 in Kahara Town, Tagawa County.

"Espoir" means "hope" in French, and the shop was named after the owner, who wanted to create a store that would grant customers' hopes.

Looking around, it's a rural landscape!

The inside of the store has a completely different image from the rural scenery outside.

It is very spacious, with a total of 13 tables that seat 2 to 4 people, and there are also private rooms that can accommodate up to 12 people (which can be partitioned into rooms of 4 people).

They also have baby cribs, so it's easy to use even if you have a baby with you.

There is even a karaoke room.

There are two rooms available, and you can order the same menu as in the restaurant (room charges start from 660 yen per person per hour).

A rich lunch menu with about 20 different items! Enjoy seasonal menu items too!

In addition to courses, Ristorante Espoir offers about 20 different lunch menu items, including hamburger steaks, fried shrimp, omelet rice, pasta, and pizza. In addition to the regular menu, seasonal menus are also available.

This time, I ordered one item from the summer limited menu available from Thursday, June 1st to Thursday, August 31st, 2023, and one item from the regular menu.

The summer-only menu item "Cold Pasta Capellini" (1,200 yen) will surprise you with its gorgeous appearance and volume!

The light tomato sauce was accentuated by the aroma of roasted garlic.

It's packed with ingredients like spear squid and summer vegetables. Pasta and vegetables go perfectly together! It's great to be able to eat plenty of vegetables.

From the regular menu, I ordered the "YOU Omelette Rice" (1,178 yen).

The eggs are carefully cooked so beautifully that it's almost a shame to eat it! This omelet rice looks like it's wearing a yellow dress.

Inside is delicious butter rice made with multigrain rice, freshly slaughtered chicken, and cheese.

Mixing it with our homemade demi-glace sauce gave it even more flavor and made it even more delicious.

There is also a wide variety of desserts to finish off the meal! It's hard to decide which one to choose!

There is also a full dessert menu, including cakes and crepe brulee.

This time, we chose some cool sweets from the summer-only menu.

The "Gâteau au Chocolat Plenty of Chocolate Parfait" (550 yen) is packed with homemade coffee jelly, cereal, vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and gateau au chocolate - a hearty treat!

Not only is it sweet, but the coffee jelly has a bitter taste to it, so I ate the whole thing in no time ♡

The "Caramelized Cheesecake Parfait" (550 yen) is also packed with panna cotta, cereal, vanilla ice cream, homemade mixed berry sauce, whipped cream, caramel chips, and cheesecake, making it very filling!

The perfect combination of cheese and caramel was perfectly matched with the sweet and sour berry sauce and was delicious.

Those in the know will know! Bread can also be purchased by preorder

Their homemade breads, such as "Shokupan" (1 loaf 440 yen, 2 loaves 840 yen), are also popular! They can be purchased at "Michinokueki Kahara" every Thursday, and at "Seven-Eleven Tagawa Bypass Misogi Store" on Fridays if the weather is good.

It is not normally sold in stores, but if you make a reservation in advance you can pick it up at Ristorante Espoir.

This is the chewy "Caramel Chocolate Nuts" (280 yen), made with bread dough.

I was able to enjoy the freshly baked bread at just the right time, and it was delicious.

If you rebake it in the toaster the next day, the powdered sugar around the outside will caramelize and it will have a whole new flavor.
