Breakfast available from 9am! The delicious eggs Benedict is very popular♡ Egg specialty cafe (Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City)

This time, I went to a cafe that specializes in egg dishes and has a pleasant terrace seating area.

Open from 9am! The open terrace seating is very popular and pets are allowed at "egg cafe Kokuraminami" (Yokodaikitamachi, Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City)

Egg Cafe Kokuraminami, located near Yokoshiro Junior High School in Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City, is a stylish cafe beloved by the local community.

It is open from 9am, and many locals come in for breakfast (9am-11am) after taking a walk. Menu items include the "Omelette Breakfast" (950 yen) and the "Scrambled Breakfast" (880 yen).

There is free parking for 20 cars, making it convenient for those traveling by car.

They have stylish, spacious seating inside the restaurant, as well as open terrace seating where you can bring your pets, so they're popular with dog lovers too.

It was a nice day, so we had lunch on the terrace.

The ordering system involves scanning a QR code with your smartphone, so you can take your time choosing at your own pace.

The menu is mainly egg dishes, with a wide variety of options available, including "Thick-fried Egg Sandwich" (780 yen) and "Thick-Cut Bacon and Egg Pancakes" (1,120 yen) for brunch (9:00-16:45), and omelet rice and loco moco for lunch (11:30-16:45). It's hard to decide what to order.

"Eggs Benedict" with a deliciously creamy texture

This time I chose the popular brunch menu item, "Eggs Benedict" (1,450 yen). The generous amount of bacon and the thick hollandaise sauce were perfectly combined, making it extremely delicious.

This creamy texture is a taste that you will want to eat again and again. When you cut into the soup, the egg yolk that flows out is so rich that it is irresistible. All of the eggs are sourced from "Izumo Farm" in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

This is the "Cold Avocado Benedict" (1,550 yen). A whole avocado is cut in half and topped with a poached egg. The moist hash browns served with it are also delicious.

The interior of the store is filled with greenery, making it a relaxing place to spend time, and the wooden walls and ceiling are also beautiful.

There are 40 seats inside the restaurant and 20 seats on the terrace, so it seems like a good place for a large group lunch. Most of the staff were friendly, and the whole restaurant had a bright atmosphere.

The stylish and comfortable interior is of course wonderful, but I definitely recommend the terrace seats, where you can feel the time passing slowly.
