Homemade bread and gelato! "The natural scenery is also amazing" - A superb baked goods shop opened in Nakagawa City

Hello♪ I'm chippachapus and I love going to cafes.

This time, we will introduce "pasticceria CINO", which opened in Nakagawa City on April 25, 2023!

Pasticceria CINO, a relaxing baked goods shop surrounded by nature (Nakagawa City)

Pasticceria CINO is a shop located in a detached house surrounded by lush nature. You can enjoy baked goods, mainly regional Italian sweets, bread, mainly focaccia, and fresh homemade gelato.

The owner, a pastry chef, is a big fan of Italy, so he has filled the shop with his favorite things, including Italian baked goods and bread.

There is a river flowing right next to the shop and there is lots of greenery.

It was a very pleasant place.

The interior of the store is modeled after a pastry shop you might find in a rural Italian town, and the atmosphere is completely different from the Japanese-style exterior.

The owner studied wine in the Tuscany region of Italy and is also an AIS-certified sommelier.

In the future, he plans to offer wine and sweets pairings at his shop.

pasticceria CINO products

Let me start by introducing each product one by one.

You'll want to try them all ♡ "Italian regional baked goods" made by a pastry chef

First, there are baked goods. There is a wide selection of delicious-looking baked goods that you will want to try. Some are sold by weight so that even small children can easily buy them.

This is "Barch di Dharma" (85 yen each), a round cookie with chocolate or jam sandwiched in between.

The round appearance is also cute.

There were four different flavors (bitter, roasted green tea, hazelnut, and raspberry). The crunchy texture and smooth chocolate taste went perfectly together.

This is "Kaeru Sable" (286 yen per piece).

The frog illustration is the original design by the owner. This sable has a gentle flavor with a soft cinnamon taste.

This is "Financier" (362 yen).

The flavor of almonds and the sweetness of butter spread softly and were delicious.

This is "Amor Polenta" (320 yen).

The crunchy texture of the corn flour added a nice accent.

This is "Limone! (cut size)" (203 yen).

It uses a lot of homemade lemon peel made from the juice and peel of Itoshima lemons, and the cake has a more direct lemon flavor and sourness than you'd expect.

This is "Chocolate & Spice" (352 yen).

A rich cake made with Valrhona chocolate and a variety of spices. It was soft and crumbly, and had a great balance of chocolate and spice flavor.

Enjoy with carefully selected ingredients! Soft and chewy "Focaccia" and "Focaccia Sandwich"

Next, we will introduce four types of "Focaccia." The contents change depending on the season.

The dough is made using 100% wheat produced in Fukuoka Prefecture, giving it a moist and chewy texture.

The first one is the focaccia classic "Rosemary" (350 yen).

The subtle saltiness and soft aroma and flavor of rosemary make this a simple yet addictively delicious dish.

The second is "Anchovy Olives" (350 yen), which combine two types of olives with anchovy sauce.

It was topped with chunks of olives, and had a great unique olive flavor and a strong taste of anchovy sauce.

The third is "Ragout" (450 yen), a beef ragu topped with mozzarella cheese and basil.

The savory flavor of the meat, the sourness of the tomatoes, and the mildness of the cheese all matched well and were delicious.

The fourth one is "Kinoko" (450 yen), which is mushroom sauce topped with avocado and onion. It is no longer on sale, but it was delicious so I would like to introduce it to you!

It was a sandwich that had an excellent balance of the creaminess of the mushroom sauce and the rich flavor of the avocado. The flavor and texture of the onions added a nice accent.

These are "Focaccia Sandwiches," which are focaccia sandwiches stuffed with plenty of ingredients. There are three types.

The first one is "Ham" (450 yen).

The sandwich is filled with thigh ham, mozzarella cheese, and selvatico.

The rich flavor of the thigh ham was great.

The second is "Salsiccia" (450 yen).

The sandwich is topped with homemade sausage, tomato, and lettuce.

The salsiccia is made with a mixture of several types of herbs, so I enjoyed the rich flavor of the herbs. The meaty salsiccia was very satisfying.

The third one is "Caponata" (450 yen).

The sandwich is filled with caponata and Genoa sauce made with summer vegetables from the Nakagawa River.

The moment I took a bite, the freshness of the vegetables and the sweet and sour taste of the tomatoes spread across my mouth. The vegetables also had a nice crunchy texture.

Don't miss the "homemade gelato" and "original drinks" that make the most of the flavors of the ingredients!

There were four different flavors of "homemade gelato," perfect for this time of year.

You can choose from one flavor (552 yen), two flavors (692 yen), or three flavors (832 yen), and you can also choose a cup or a cone. For an additional 32 yen, you can also get a cone with chocolate dipping.

On the left is "Passion Fruit & Mango x Raspberry" and on the right is "Chocolate x Salted Caramel".

Both were smooth and very delicious.

This lemonade is made using whole Itoshima lemons and is made without adding any spices, so you can simply enjoy the deliciousness of lemon.

We also recommend pairing it with baked goods and bread.

On a nice day, you can relax and enjoy the view of nature from the chairs in front of the shop. Please come and visit us. (Text by chippachapus)
