This time, I heard there was a restaurant that served "children's lunch" for adults, so I went to check it out.

Dining and bar "Flap" (Shimosone, Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City) is a hot topic for its "adult lunch" that is only available three days a week.

Flap is a dining and bar that opened in January 2017, located a five-minute walk from JR Shimozone Station.

It is a small restaurant with three tables and five counter seats.

The interior of the store is decorated with a Brooklyn-style motif.

They were conscious of creating a friendly space that would make people think of it as a "second living room" and that would be easy for even one person to enter.

This popular restaurant is known for its delicious food and wide selection of alcoholic drinks, but they also open for lunch on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30am to 2:30pm (OS 2pm)!

There are three types of lunch: "Homemade Pizza Lunch", "Fresh Pasta Lunch", and the "Adult Lunch" that I was looking forward to. All of them come with a drink and cost 990 yen.

The hamburger steak is a delicacy that can only be eaten at lunchtime, lovingly handmade by the chef. It is so tender that you can cut it easily with chopsticks. It was so juicy!

The fried chicken is apparently the most popular menu item during dinner time. It was well seasoned and very delicious.

Flap also uses the adjacent dance studio to host large-scale events such as dance events and weddings.

On Saturday, July 29, 2023, they will be holding a music and dance event called "Shimosone Festival." It is said to be Flap's biggest event. Details will be announced on Instagram soon.
