A single parfait that costs 2,500 yen is now 1,500 yen with a set that includes all-you-can-eat sweets! A limited-time bargain menu (Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City)
Hello. I'm ayu.latte, a writer who loves great value and delicious sweets.
This time, we will introduce some great value sweets from a cafe in Tokuriki, Kokuraminami-ku, Kitakyushu City!
"Kururun Cafe" (Tokuriki, Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City) where you can enjoy a variety of options from lunch to sweets
"Kururun Cafe" is located a 5-minute walk from Tokurikikodanmae Station on the Kitakyushu Monorail.
The restaurant has five tables that seat two to four people, allowing you to dine in a relaxed atmosphere.
Another appealing feature is that the colors of the walls on the left and right are different, so the atmosphere changes depending on where you sit. The wall on the left as you enter is turquoise blue.
To the right is a bright green wall.
They offer lunch, drinks, and sweets, and some of the menu items are available for takeout! It's a restaurant that can be used for a variety of occasions.
The set can even be cheaper than the price of each item! The great value "all-you-can-eat sweets set"
This time I went to eat a parfait, and there was something surprising on the menu!
For 1,500 yen, you can enjoy the "All-You-Can-Eat Sweets Set," which includes "one parfait of your choice," "coffee (hot or iced)," and "all-you-can-eat sweets from the showcase (no time limit, ends when the sweets in the showcase run out)." You can order without making a reservation, but it will end when the sweets for that day run out, so make sure to make a reservation by the day before. [Editor's note on June 1, 2023: The "All-You-Can-Eat Sweets Set" now requires a reservation by the day before, and is available during cafe time from 2:00 p.m.]
On the day I visited, the parfait lineup consisted of four types: "Comb Honey Parfait" (2,500 yen), "Matcha Parfait" (1,300 yen), "Tiramisu Parfait" (1,300 yen), and "Seasonal Orange Parfait" (1,500 yen).
It's a great deal compared to the regular price, so I thought it was a mini-sized parfait, but it was actually the regular size!
No matter which one you choose, it's a good deal, but I ordered the Comb Honey Parfait, which is the most expensive and I was curious about the taste. By the way, the Comb Honey Parfait is only available as part of the All-You-Can-Eat Sweets Set for a limited time (end date undecided). If you're interested, hurry up!
This luxurious parfait is served in a glass and contains yogurt, blueberry sauce, honey, lemon jelly, pound cake, fresh cream, cereal, mascarpone cream, dried lemon, and comb honey.
The honey is said to be good for your skin, and comes with two luxurious slices! It contains propolis, so it's recommended to chew it well before eating.
The yogurt and lemon give it a refreshing finish. The com honey was chewy and had a new texture!
This is "Tiramisu Parfait." The glass is filled with coffee jelly, fresh cream, chocolate cream, nuts, chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, and more.
It has a slightly bitter, mature taste. The coffee jelly has a hint of sweetness in its bitterness, so even people who don't like coffee can enjoy it. It's very satisfying when eaten with chocolate cake and nuts.
The drink included with the "All-You-Can-Eat Sweets Set" is coffee (hot or iced), but you can change it to another type for an additional 100 yen. You can also get a refill for half the regular price.
You can also choose a mini parfait! All-you-can-eat luxurious sweets
And the most surprising thing is the "all-you-can-eat sweets from the showcase." You can eat as many sweets as you want from the showcase, including mini parfaits! The lineup changes daily, so you'll have to wait until you get there to find out what you'll be able to eat.
The mini parfaits available that day included "Tiramisu Parfait," "Matcha Parfait," "Orange Parfait," and "Chocolate Parfait."
The mini parfaits are currently priced at 390-490 yen for the anniversary event, but normally they are priced from 550 yen. And the fact that they are included in the all-you-can-eat plan is a real bargain!
Rather than ordering a single parfait, ordering the "all-you-can-eat sweets set" is more economical and satisfying; it's like magic!
If you're interested, be sure to come early. (Text by ayu.latte)
