This time, I went to a very popular Italian cafe and bar located in a residential area in the Sone area of Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City.

BRAND NEW DAY, an Italian cafe and bar with a unique atmosphere (Sonekitamachi, Kokuraminami Ward, Kitakyushu City)

Located about a 10-minute walk from JR Shimozone Station, BRAND NEW DAY is a cafe and bar where you can enjoy dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients. I've actually been there many times myself, and it's a wonderful restaurant that's always filled with smiling customers.

There is parking space for 7 cars in front of the store, so it is convenient for those coming by car.

The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, making it a great place to dine for a variety of occasions, whether you're dining alone or in a group.

Including the delicious carbonara that has many repeat customers! A satisfying lunch menu with a variety of options to choose from

I had lunch there that day (lunchtime 11:00-15:00).

The most popular item on the lunch menu is the "Combo Plate Lunch" (from 1,700 yen), which includes the "Today's Main Dish" and "Today's Pasta" that change daily.

The set includes a main dish, pasta, soup, salad, and bread spread with special honey. Drinks can be added for an additional 120 yen.

The pasta on the lunch menu can be changed to the "BND (Brand New Day) Carbonara" as an option (+330 yen).

Apparently it's a very popular menu item with many repeat customers. In fact, I love it too and have been ordering it over and over again. It's a light carbonara that's unlike anything else and is absolutely delicious.

Our own aromatic blend of coffee that you'll want to drink again and again

If you order the "house blend coffee" cold (+120 yen) as part of a lunch menu set, water and espresso will be served separately.

You'll want to take a video of the moment the espresso is poured. The specialty coffee, which is a homemade blend, is also available for takeout (from 250 yen).

This is a must-visit shop for coffee lovers.

I chose the "Happy Cappuccino" (hot) from the "Drink Set" (+120 yen) on the lunch menu, and it was so cute I almost felt bad about drinking it! By the way, you can also choose cold for an additional 120 yen.

This is the popular dessert menu item "Buttino" (440 yen). It's an Italian fresh pudding that looks like a cute fried egg. It has a gentle sweetness that pudding lovers will love.
