Perfect for celebrating your favorite idol or a birthday! The store and the menu are all so cute at this Korean cafe (Nagazumi, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City)
Hello! I'm ayu.latte, a writer who loves cute cafes and has visited over 1,500 in total.
This time, we will introduce some recommended cafes for those occasions when you want to celebrate something a little special, such as the birthday of a friend or your favorite idol.
You won't be able to stop taking photos even before you enter the store! The super cute Korean cafe "Boreumdal" (Nagazumi, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City)
"Boreumdal" is located in Nagazumi, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City.
The wife of the owners is a big fan of Korean idols, so they operate the cafe as a "Korean cafe."
The restaurant's name, "Borumdal," is written as "보름달" in Korean and means "full moon."
The owner chose the shop's name because he loves the full moon in particular and loves the story of Natsume Soseki expressing "I love you" as "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"
There are five tables inside the restaurant, which is lit up like a full moon.
There is a cute teddy bear hugging a blanket, which is very heart-warming ♡
The store also sells a lot of Korean goods, including plates, cups, and clothing, and some customers come in looking for the goods.
From the exterior to the interior, every scene is so cute that I can't stop taking photos ♡
Celebrate your birthday here! Super cute birthday plates
First, we would like to introduce the super cute "Birthday Plate"! Reservations must be made via Instagram DM at least three days before the day you plan to visit (orders will close before that as soon as the limit is reached).
The basic price for one plate includes one buttercream muffin (in the shape of a simple animal such as a bear, cat or rabbit), a hat, a message and a flower decoration, and is 1,430 yen.
Buttercream muffins can be added for 473 yen each (for example, two muffins would cost 1,903 yen).
The muffins are moist and not too sweet.
You can also change the animal part of the buttercream muffin to your favorite animal for an additional fee. The price varies depending on the number of colors used and the difficulty level, so please contact the store directly via Instagram DM.
Perfect for your favorite idol! A wide selection of colorful sodas♡
"Porumdal" also offers a variety of colorful drinks that are perfect for your favorite idol activities.
It's called "Oshikatsu Soda" (550 yen). For an additional 110 yen, you can add ice cream toppings. The black one is cola, and the others are the same soda flavor.
It's great that you can order in your favorite member's color! They may be able to make it in a color that isn't in the menu photo, so please ask.
This time, I ordered pink and blue.
When you put it next to the "Birthday Plate", it looks so cute! I couldn't resist it ♡
Take-out or eat-in options available! Baked goods on display daily
The baked goods at "Porumdal" are also very delicious ♡
There are many different baked goods lined up on the shelves next to the cash register. The lineup changes daily, so you'll have to wait until you get there to see what you'll be able to eat! You can enjoy them in the store as well as take them out.
This time, I decided to eat in the shop, so I ordered some baked goods that caught my eye, and they were brought to me cutely presented on a plate.
In the photo below, the top plate features "Pound Cake (Earl Grey/White Chocolate)" (308 yen) and "Meringue Cookies" (330 yen), and the bottom plate features "Muffins (Honey Lemon)" (352 yen) and "Character Cookies" (253 yen).
"Pound Cake (Earl Grey White Chocolate)" is an Earl Grey flavored pound cake mixed with white chocolate.
The "Muffin (Honey Lemon)" was a perfect combination of a lightly sweet muffin and the sweet and sour honey lemon topping.
We also had "Lemonade" and "Strawberry Soda" (660 yen each).
Both drinks are made with homemade syrup. The "Lemonade" is sweet and sour and refreshing. The "Strawberry Soda" is just the right amount of sweet and delicious.
By the way, the baked goods can be wrapped in cute packaging (bag fee: 30 yen, box fee: 100 yen and up *depending on the size of the box), so they would make a great gift.
There are many ways to enjoy "Boreumdal". Why not come and visit? (Text by ayu.latte)
