Hello♪ I'm chippachapus and I love going to cafes.

This time, we will introduce you to a hidden gem pancake shop located a little distance from the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine!

When it comes to pancakes in Dazaifu, this is the place to go! Cafe Taniiku Club (Dazaifu City) is a stylish pancake specialty shop with a unique handmade atmosphere.

Cafe Taniku Club is located in Saifu, Dazaifu City. It is about a 6-minute walk from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.

Currently, the pancake shop only serves 30 servings a day, but originally it was a succulent plant shop, which is why the shop's name includes "succulents."

The interior of the store was apparently all handcrafted by the owner and staff, creating a one-of-a-kind space that is hard to imagine from the outside.

Upon entering the shop, you will find a spacious counter seating area decorated with colorful dried flowers, as well as seashells and driftwood collected by the owner, who grew up by the sea.

Further inside, there are four tables.

All of the illustrations on the ceiling are hand-drawn, and all of the miscellaneous items on display are also handmade.

The interior of the store is designed to resemble the sea, with lots of driftwood used.

No matter where you looked, it was a picturesque space.

Irresistibly fluffy and fizzy ♡ Pancakes that let you enjoy the luxurious flavor of Amaou strawberries

The pancakes are topped with an abundance of seasonal fruits.

Currently, in addition to the standard menu, there are about seven types of pancakes made with Amaou strawberries available.

This is the "Yokubari Strawberry (drink included)" (2,800 yen). Orders are limited to one plate per table.

Apparently, they used more than two packs of Amaou strawberries! Half of the plate was covered with Amaou strawberries.

The pancake batter contains very little flour and is 90% meringue.

The moment you take a bite, it melts with a fizzing sound, and it has a strange texture that makes a fizzing sound with every bite.

Each piece was lighter than I expected, and I finished all three in no time.

They also use fresh eggs that are delivered every morning. The mild egg flavor spreads softly and is very delicious.

Strawberry sauce and condensed milk are also served separately, so you can enjoy different flavors.

Next up is the "Pink Strawberry Pancake (with drink)" (1,700 yen).

These pancakes are inspired by spring cherry blossoms and feature adorable pink strawberry cream.

The sweet and sour strawberry sauce and the eggy batter go perfectly together. This is also a pancake that is full of sweetness and is irresistible for strawberry lovers.

All of the current Amaou pancakes are available for a limited time only, until early May 2023.

Afterwards, a pancake parfait filled with fruit, including peaches and mangoes, will be served. The shape and contents of the parfait change every year, so you can enjoy a different style of parfait from last year.
