[April 11th - 24th, 2026] Popular illustrator Kayoubi, originally from Fukuoka, will hold a solo exhibition titled "CREATE & CONNECT"!
From Saturday, April 11th to Friday, April 24th, 2026, an exhibition by illustrator Kayoubi titled "CREATE & CONNECT" will be held at CARBON COFFEE FUKUOKA, a cafe in Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City.

Kayoubi is attracting attention with her new retro style that blends contemporary vibes with 80s and 90s nostalgia. She is active in various genres such as fashion, music, and lifestyle, providing illustrations for global street brands and creating illustrations for artists' music videos.
This is the second installment of the solo exhibition held last year, which was very well received. Continuing the theme from the previous exhibition, it will feature new artwork as well as a portrait drawing event. *Reservations for the portrait drawing event are now closed.

Kayoubi commented on the upcoming solo exhibition, saying, "Eyes are one way of sharing information. I especially enjoy drawing eyes when I'm drawing people, so for this exhibition, I've created cute and distinctive eyes that are not just cute, but also represent things I've seen, scenes, and positive motifs, expressing and creating them in my own unique style of cuteness. I would be happy if many people could see them and share in the happiness. I am also very happy that a second exhibition has been decided to be held in Fukuoka and Osaka. I have put just as much attention to detail into the newly drawn works as I did last time. Furthermore, I have added some new works that can be enjoyed from a slightly different angle than before, so I would be happy if you could see them with a fresh perspective."

In addition to displaying artwork, the solo exhibition will also feature the sale of original merchandise. Items inspired by the exhibition's art will be available, including stickers (6 types in total), T-shirts, and folding double-sided mirrors. You can enjoy incorporating the world of the artwork into your everyday life!
"CREATE & CONNECT" is also scheduled to tour Osaka in May.
