A fun day for parents and children! "Mirai Food Education Festival" (Hakata Station East, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

The Mirai Food Education Festival (free admission) will be held on Monday, November 24th, 2025 (national holiday) at the GRAND FESTA inside THE BASICS FUKUOKA, located east of Hakata Station in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

The event was planned with the theme of "Medicine x Food x Education x Welfare x Community" to foster the dining tables of the future through "eating, learning, and connecting."

"Eat, see, and learn" - it's something that parents and children can enjoy together.

There's plenty to enjoy, including a tasting rally at the market and gifts for visitors.

The event will feature a variety of content, including sales booths, tasting rallies, stage events, experience booths, and visitor gifts.

30 sales booths featuring fresh vegetables and specialty ingredients

The venue will be lined with 30 sales booths, including those from popular local restaurants, natural shops, and welfare workshops, lined up like a market.

They also sell carefully selected natural sweets, organic seasonings, gluten-free foods, additive-free foods, and even fresh vegetables.

"Tasting Rally" - Collect stamps while tasting and receive a gift

Another highlight is the "Tasting Stamp Rally," which allows you to enjoy walking around the venue. You will receive a stamp when you try a tasting at each booth, and if you collect five stamps, you will receive a "pork soup" or "black soy drink" (first 600 people). Be sure to try lots of samples.

Always on! Plenty of "stage events"

Talk events related to food, health, and child-rearing are held on the stage from 10:00 to 16:00. *The following is a tentative schedule. The order and content may be subject to change.

The highlight of the event will be the talk show announcing the food education picture book "Kurotan's Great Breakfast Adventure!". The story is themed around breakfast, with the main character Minori-chan and the bean fairy Daizumaru learning about the importance of protein. It is not only enjoyable for children, but will also encourage parents to reconsider their "eating habits." The talk show will feature appearances by Ai Kemizaki (nurse and CEO of K's collection Inc.) and Mary Yagi (Super Strategy☆Illustrator).

Other stage events planned include:

・Sports doping and health: Atsushi Shimizu (Pharmacist, Izumi Pharmacy)
・Dashi Magic Experiment: Tomoko Miyazaki (CEO of Tayutoma / Registered Dietitian / Kelp Ambassador)
・"Danshari (R)" to develop children's minds: The power of choice necessary for families and educational institutions: Reiko Nakamura (Vice Principal of Toyokita Elementary School, Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture)
Chewing to develop health and contributing to society: Granola is amazing! Takahiro Higuchi (Director of Higuchi Dental Clinic) and Keiko Higuchi (Vice Director of the same clinic)
・"Wellness Management" where families become a team: Ryotaro Kato (CEO of UTA Inc.)
・"The heart is made by words" - The power of children developed through dialogue -: Ryoto Inaka (CEO of Kokoro Kotoba Academy Co., Ltd.)

This is just a small part of it. There will be other stage events too, so please look forward to them.

There will also be an "experience booth"!

There will also be experience booths at the venue offering things like a taste test, chewing ability test, and lunchbox diagnosis, so both children and adults can have fun.
