[Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City] Uminonakamichi National Seaside Park

Uminonakamichi National Government Seaside Park in Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, stretches from east to west and covers a vast area of approximately 350 hectares.

The most representative sight of Uminaka in autumn is the cosmos on Flower Hill. The best time to see them is from early to late October, when about 1 million flowers cover the entire hill in pink.

Nokonoshima Island Park in Nishi Ward, Fukuoka City

Nokonoshima Island Park, a natural park on Nokonoshima Island, is about a 10-minute ferry ride from Meinohama Ferry Terminal. It is famous as a scenic spot where you can enjoy seasonal flowers against the backdrop of the sea.

From late October to early November, you can enjoy the approximately 300,000 late-blooming cosmos. Check the official Instagram for the latest flowering status.

[Itoshima City] Hirabaru Historical Park

Hirahara Historical Park is a historical park that was developed from the Hirahara Ruins, a nationally designated archaeological site where Japan's largest bronze mirror, the Naiko Kamonkyo, was unearthed. It is located about 2km south of the JA Itoshima Direct Market, Itunasai.

From early to mid-October, the fields surrounding the royal tomb are filled with approximately 100,000 cosmos flowers, cared for by local volunteers, mainly from the Raizan School District Principals' Association.

There is also a grassy area, perfect for a picnic.

[Kurume City] Cosmos Highway

It is one of the "100 Ikenobo Flower Strolls," a selection of Japanese flower landscapes that Japan wants to preserve for future generations, certified by Ikenobo, Japan's largest flower arrangement school (headquarters in Kyoto).

Approximately 370,000 cosmos flowers bloom along the 2.5km bank of the Jinya River, centered around Cosmos Park Kitano, a waterside park in Kitano-cho, Kurume City.

Every year, when the Cosmos are in full bloom, the Kurume Cosmos Festival is held at Cosmos Park Kitano. In 2025, it will be held on Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th from 10:00 to 16:00. During the festival, there will be stalls and various events.

[Yame City] Tachibana Shoji's Cosmos Garden

The cosmos garden is managed and operated by Tachibana Shoji Co., Ltd. and is open to the public free of charge.

Approximately 150,000 cosmos flowers bloom along the Yabe River.

[Mizumaki Town] Mizumaki Cosmos Garden

Mizumaki Cosmos Garden is located on the banks of the Onga River, where approximately 5 million cosmos, the town's flower, bloom in full glory. The best time to see them is from mid-October to early November.

In particular, the approximately 6km cycling road with cosmos flowers blooming on both sides of the road is very beautiful and has been highly praised!

The neighboring park, Midorin Park, holds the Mizumaki Town Cosmos Festival every October. It's packed with events, including a gourmet festival and stage shows! In 2025, the festival will be held on Saturday, October 25th from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday, October 26th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

[Oto Town] Ooto Sakura Kaido Flower Park

Located next to the Ooto Sakura Kaido Roadside Station, Ooto Sakura Kaido Flower Park is a place where you can enjoy rape blossoms in spring, sunflowers in summer, and cosmos in autumn. The best time to see the approximately 180,000 cosmos flowers is from late October to early November.

In the center of the park is the Rainbow Observation Deck, about 8 meters high, from which you can get a 360-degree view of the flower fields.
