[Tenjin Event] Free! Kyushu's largest urban music festival "MUSIC CITY TENJIN 2025" will be held on September 27th and 28th
We bring you information on notable events in Fukuoka.
This time, we will introduce "MUSIC CITY TENJIN 2025," which will be held this weekend on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th, 2025.
[September 27th (Sat) and 28th (Sun) 2025] Kyushu's largest urban music festival "MUSIC CITY TENJIN 2025"
"MUSIC CITY TENJIN" (free admission) is one of Kyushu's largest free live events, where the entire Tenjin area of Fukuoka becomes a "festival venue" filled with music.
This year, the event will be held as "MUSIC CITY TENJIN 2025" on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th!

Many artists will be appearing on the main stage, the "FBS 5ch Stage" at the Fureai Plaza on the west side of Fukuoka City Hall, the "MCT PROUD OF THE FUTURE Stage" at Zepha on the 1st floor of Solaria Plaza, the "Mew-Side Stage" at Fukuoka Mitsukoshi Lion Plaza, the "Meiji Yasuda PRESENTS NOT NEW MARKET" at the plaza in front of the former Fukuoka Prefectural Public Hall Guest House, and the "10 TURNTABLES @MUSIC CITY TENJIN One Building Stage" at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.

In addition tooffering live music performances, MUSIC CITY TENJIN will be reborn as a new music business, aiming to "enrich the Tenjin area in the future" in line with the changes taking place in the city as a result of the Tenjin Big Bang Project.
Fukuoka City Hall West Side Community Square "FBS 5ch Stage"
The main stage is the "FBS 5ch Stage" in the Fureai Hiroba on the west side of Fukuoka City Hall.
The lineup of performers is in the order of scheduled appearances.

Meiji Yasuda Presents Not New Market will be held for the first time in front of the Guest House in Tenjin Central Park. In addition to live music, there will be market events, workshops, talk sessions, and more (see below for details).

■ Meiji Yasuda Presents Not New Market

This will be the first time that Meiji Yasuda PRESENTS NOT NEW MARKET (also mentioned above) will be held.
Through a variety of experiences, including not only live music but also market events, workshops, and talk sessions, the event aims to help participants rediscover the value of things and experiences that are often overlooked around them, develop the ability to make choices based on their own sense, and lead to a sustainable future.
The market will feature around 40 popular shops, including second-hand clothing, used records, vintage furniture, upcycled goods, and popular restaurants in Fukuoka. The market will be open from 11:00 to 21:00 on Saturday the 27th and from 11:00 to 19:00 on Sunday the 28th.

■10 TURNTABLES @MUSIC CITY TENJIN One Building Stage

"10 TURNTABLES @MUSIC CITY TENJIN One Building Stage" will be held at "ONE FUKUOKA BLDG.", where a total of 10 analog turntables will be set up in five locations throughout One Building! It's a circuit-style event where you can enjoy a variety of music while touring the building.
The event will be held at Face Records, Tsutaya Bookstore, Spiral Garden, Tenjin Fuku Shokudo, and iiToTENJIN Food Hall from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on both days.
The finale will take place at 8pm in the "iiTOTENJIN Food Hall", where performers and guest DJs will gather to liven up the venue.
■PARC ON 2025 15th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL

"PARC ON" is a circuit-style music festival that took place at various stages throughout Fukuoka Parco, attracting a total of approximately 8,000 people in 2023 and 2024. This year, it will be held as the "15th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL" to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the opening of Fukuoka Parco.

■TENJIN SHOWTIME

"TENJIN SHOWTIME," a music event linked to "MUSIC CITY TENJIN," will also be held in eight public open spaces and event spaces in Tenjin, with 37 stages.
The event will be held at mina Tenjin, Shintencho Marchen Square, Iwataya New Building Kirameki Square, Susaki Park, Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station Tokimeki Square, Daimaru Elgala, One Building Square A, and City Road 4 (pedestrian zone).
Other events include the "Z Side stage," which will feature live painting and DJ sets in collaboration with "IWATAYA Life with Art," currently being held at Iwataya Main Store, and "the orbit sound_art," a live event by TuneCore Japan and an artist lounge. The list of things to see over the two days is endless.
