A family bath with a spectacular view! Relax in "Higashisefuri Onsen" (Saga) with an open-air bath and Japanese-style rooms.
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, we will introduce hot spring facilities that are perfect for a day trip from Fukuoka.
Relax in the tranquil scenery! Popular hot spring facility "Higashisefuri Onsen Sazanka no Yu" (Yoshinogari Town, Saga Prefecture)
Higashisefuri Onsen Sazanka no Yu is located in Yoshinogari Town, Saga Prefecture.
The facility is equipped with seven types of baths, including a bath with alkaline simple hot spring water that flows directly from the source, gushing from 1,800 meters underground, as well as heated spring water from the east Sefuri area. This popular hot spring facility offers beautiful views of the Saga Plain and Sefuri Mountains, and an open-air bath where you can enjoy a star-filled night sky.
It is about an hour's drive from central Fukuoka and about a five-minute drive from the Higashi-Sefuri IC on the Nagasaki Expressway. There is a free parking lot on the premises that can accommodate two large vehicles and 150 standard cars.

The bathing fee for those from outside the town is 830 yen for adults (middle school students and above), 400 yen for children (ages 4 to elementary school), and free for children aged 0 to 3. For those from within the town, the fee is 630 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
There is also a bedrock bath, and a set of bathing and bedrock bathing (including rental towels) costs 1,400 yen. You can use it at your leisure.

If you would like to use the family bath in addition to the large public bath and open-air bath, please check in at the front desk before purchasing your ticket.
There are four types of private family baths: "Ten no Yu," "Iwa no Yu," "Kama no Yu," and "Tsubo no Yu." The usage fee for "Ten no Yu" is 3,000 yen per hour, and the others are 2,000 yen per hour (a separate bathing fee is required for each person). *Extension is 1,000 yen per 30 minutes.
All types of rooms have an open-air bath, a cypress bath, and an 8-tatami Japanese-style room, and you can spend a relaxing time while looking out at the spectacular view.

Family baths cannot be reserved on weekends and holidays, but can be reserved by phone on weekdays only. *Only the "Family Bath Meal Plan" can be reserved by phone until 6:00 PM the day before, even on weekends and holidays.
Enjoy the spectacular view! Enjoy the luxurious family bath
This time, we used the family bath, "Iwanoyu."
In the family baths, you can enjoy an open-air bath with natural spring water and an indoor cypress bath.

It has an atmosphere like a traditional Japanese inn.
By the way, if you use the "Family Bath Meal Plan" which includes bathing, a room, and a meal (2 hours, Iwanoyu, Kamanoyu, and Tsubonoyu are 4,500 yen for adults, Tennoyu is 5,500 yen for adults, and all rooms are 2,000 yen for children aged 4 to elementary school), meals will be brought to your room.

As the name "Rock Bath" suggests, the open-air bath is surrounded by natural stones and is spacious enough for a family of four to comfortably fit in.

The lush green scenery in front of you is soothing.
The cypress bath has a pleasant warmth and you can freely add water to adjust the temperature, so children can enjoy it to their heart's content.

Body soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided at the washing area.

The room was spacious and equipped with a table and air conditioning, so I was able to relax after my bath.

Towels can be rented or purchased, and there is also a hair dryer.

I was also grateful that the room had a bathroom. It was spacious and barrier-free.
After refreshing in the family bath, you can relax in the hammock in the shared space. It's heavenly!

There are also picture books for children.

There are even crane games and capsule toys!

Adults can also relax in a massage chair.

It seems that they also hold kids' events regularly, and on the day our family visited there was a free candy fishing event, which the kids had a great time at.

We can relax without worrying about what others think, and it has become a favorite spot for the whole family.
I highly recommend it ♡ (Text by Yuri-chan)
