This is a collaboration between Tsubame Marche, an event run by JR Kyushu that utilizes its train baggage transport service to gather local specialties, and Fuku Marche, an event in Fukuoka city that focuses on organic and local production and consumption.

Fuku Marche's selection of seasonal ingredients from all over Kyushu is transported to Hakata Station on the same day using available space on Shinkansen and limited express trains. Amazingly fresh delicacies from all over Kyushu are available for purchase at Hakata Station.

This is the fourth time we are holding this event, and it brings together the bounty of Kyushu's summer! In addition to popular items from the past, we will also be introducing many new products.

Introducing our products, including ingredients that will be making their first appearance!

Here are some of the products that will be sold at this "Tsubame Marche with FUKU MARCHE STORE"! *Products are subject to change.

Freshly picked, delivered directly! Ripe mangoes from Yanagawa [TAKA farm]

Introducing "Apple Mangoes" grown at "TAKA farm" in Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, with minimal use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. They are harvested slowly and carefully on the tree until they are fully ripe.

The bright orange flesh is low in fiber, and the sweetness and aroma spread the moment you put it in your mouth! It has the melting taste that is unique to mangoes, and because it has a high sugar content, it's recommended to eat it as is, or add it to smoothies and desserts.

Very popular at the market! Freshly picked grapes from Asakura [Kakinoya Persimmons and Grapes]

Kakinoya, a farm with over 65 years of history in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, has reduced the use of pesticides to the bare minimum, cultivating fruit without chemical fertilizers or herbicides, with the aim of "delivering only products that we can be proud of."

This time, grapes from Kakinoya, which are also very popular at Fuku Marche, will be available for the first time at Tsubame Marche with Fuku Marche STORE! Once you've tasted their rich sweetness, you'll never forget it.

Freshly picked Kyoho and Aki Queen grapes are harvested at the exact moment of ripeness, and assorted packs are delivered the same day.

*Depending on the growing conditions, only assorted packs will be available. *The varieties available may change depending on the ripeness of the fruit.

Directly from a farm in Saga! Specialty cheese and drinkable yogurt [Milne Farm]

Milne Farm, located at the foot of Mount Sefuri in Saga Prefecture, handles everything from dairy farming to processing, and will be making its first appearance.

This time, they will be selling "mozzarella cheese" made using 100% natural raw milk and only natural ingredients, as well as "drinkable yogurt" that does not contain any additives such as flavorings or preservatives.

The drinkable yogurt is a popular item among both children and adults, and the cheese is made with freshly squeezed raw milk, giving it a mellow flavor.

Delicious even raw! Freshly picked whole okra [Iida Development Farm]

"Maru Okra" is grown in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, without the use of any chemical fertilizers or herbicides, with a focus on soil preparation and homemade organic compost.

Its greatest appeal is its softness! It's hard to find any fibers, so it's delicious even when eaten raw.

This time, the vegetables are delivered fresh, straight from the fields, picked that morning. Try adding them to salads and other dishes to enjoy the natural flavor of the vegetables.

From Kagoshima! Freshly slaughtered and delivered fresh, chewy seared bonito [Yamami Suisan]

The No. 1 repeat product at "Tsubame Marche with Fuku Marche STORE"! This time, "Freshly caught raw bonito tataki" will be available again, made from bonito caught off the coast of Yakushima and Tanegashima and grilled raw immediately after being caught.

The fish is very fresh, pink in color, and has a chewy texture. It can be delivered without ever being frozen, thanks to transportation by Shinkansen.

It's delicious when eaten with plenty of condiments such as ginger, garlic, and myoga! It's also great in dishes like tataki donburi. (Depending on the situation, it may be slaughtered the day before.)

Summer asparagus grown in mineral-rich natural water [Sakai Farm Pon Farm]

Asparagus is grown in the rich soil of Nakagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture, using natural water pumped up from 100 meters underground. The asparagus is grown using only organic fertilizers developed through trial and error, with the use of pesticides kept to a minimum.

One bite and you're hit with a burst of sweetness and aroma. Freshly picked asparagus is soft and juicy, and simply grilling it brings out its amazing flavor.

Enjoy it as is with a sprinkle of salt, or add it to pasta or salad. It's a seasonal flavor that's only available from spring to summer.

In addition, there are a variety of other products on display, including thick, fleshy "raw wood ear mushrooms" grown in Itoshima without the use of pesticides, rare wild "Satsuma sweet shrimp," and 100% pure, unheated "natural honey" harvested from the naturally rich fields and mountains of Kama and Iizuka.

Be sure to pick up some fresh ingredients from all over Kyushu at Hakata Station and enjoy the flavors of the season. (Text by ARNE Editorial Department)
