[Fukuoka 2025 Summer Event] Collaboration with the Hawks! "Tenjin Summer Festival" (7/17-8/17)

The popular event "Tenjin Summer Festival," now in its third year, will start on Thursday, July 17th, 2025!
Collaboration with the Hawks! "Hawk Festival SUMMER BOOST meets Tenjin Summer Festival 2025" will be held from Thursday, July 17th to Sunday, August 17th (Fukuoka City Hall West Side Community Square)
The Tenjin Summer Festival is based on the concept of "a nostalgic yet new summer festival in the middle of Tenjin," and features a new type of Bon Odori dance using pop music, food stalls, and a festival. In 2025, it will be held for about a month from Thursday, July 17th to Sunday, August 17th at the Fureai Hiroba on the west side of Fukuoka City Hall!

Following last year, we will be teaming up with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks to heat up the summer in Fukuoka with "Hawks Festival SUMMER BOOST meets Tenjin Summer Festival 2025."

The venue's signboards, staff T-shirts, beer cups, etc. will be decorated with the "Hawks Festival SUMMER BOOST 2025" design. In addition, night games held during the period will be broadcast on a large screen, and every night's finale will be "Izayuke Wakataka Gundan Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST Remix," so it's all Hawks!
There will also be a pre-party and post-party with special guests!
In conjunction with "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST," a summer entertainment event that goes beyond the scope of a baseball event, which begins on Saturday, July 26th at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka, the "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST Eve Festival" and "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST After Festival" will be held as part of the Tenjin Summer Festival (note that the Eve Festival and After Festival may be canceled in the event of rain).
The eve of the event will start at 7:00pm on Thursday, July 24th, and will boost the excitement for the "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST". The MC will be the comedian Arata from the comedy duo Munatan, and DJ Dainoj Otani will liven up the venue. Special guests are also scheduled to make an appearance.
The after-party will be held on the final day of "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST" on Sunday, August 3rd from 7pm. Following on from last year, Akimasa Haraguchi will be the MC, and DJ Kazu, who livens up the Dome at "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST", will also be performing. In addition, Fukuoka-born singer-songwriter Leo Ieiri will be holding a special live performance! (*This may change depending on the end time of the game.)
Leo Ieiri commented, "I am very happy to be able to appear at a Hawks event this summer in Tenjin, my hometown of Fukuoka. I couldn't be happier if my music was to accompany all the drama that unfolds through professional baseball. Let's have fun together this summer."
Approximately 30 stores will be set up, including food stalls and a festival corner!
The "Takamatsuri SUMMER BOOST meets Tenjin Summer Festival 2025" venue will be filled with the classic food stalls! Enjoy Itoshima pork sauce fried noodles, fragrant charcoal-grilled local chicken, and more with ice-cold draft beer and ramune, and you'll be in the festive mood at its peak.
There is also a well-stocked festival corner where you can enjoy exciting activities such as shooting games and yo-yo fishing that will captivate both children and adults.
Also, an approximately 8m-tall "lantern tower" will be introduced as a new symbol of the Tenjin Summer Festival! You can spend a special summer moment surrounded by fantastic lights.
