Surrounded by white-walled walls and trees, the 1.2-hectare site features a large pond and artificial hill garden, a meandering stream, a dry landscape garden, a teahouse built in the sukiya style, and an open-air garden. It is a popular spot where you can experience the beauty of the four seasons in a tranquil space, even in the city.

Enjoy a new kind of art! Introducing 8 contents

"Reincarnation" (West Gate)

"Rinne" is an event entrance with a mystical atmosphere that combines images projected onto a holographic screen with bamboo lanterns. After a shrine maiden rings a bell to purify the mind and body of visitors, they pass through the "water ring" floating on the west gate, and an otherworldly Japanese garden at night unfolds before their eyes. It is the starting point that invites visitors into an extraordinary world.

"Rising Stream" (Dry Landscape)

Set in a dry landscape garden, four projectors controlled the transformation of images, projecting beautiful, shimmering images of the water's surface, such as the moon, carp, and flowers, onto the sand ripples in "Rising Stream." The carp and flowers flow toward the flow line, and the images change as the water surface twists beyond them. Visitors are given a mysterious sensation of being invited into an "unknown outside."

"Flash" (passage next to the lower pond)

"Flash" is a piece that uses more than 40 tube-shaped LED lights arranged in the garden at night, and creates a scene where a flash of light threads its way through the shadows. It creates a sense of expectation and curiosity in the visitors, inviting them into a deeper world.

"Sora" (in front of the upper pond)

The main production of the event, "Sora," was a coordinated combination of four large projectors, six laser devices, an artificial sea of clouds surrounding the pond, and over 140 LED lights placed at various locations on land and underwater. Images of people dancing in traditional Japanese clothing were projected onto a holographic screen in the center of the pond, and the forest in the garden at the back was also used as a giant screen for projecting images. By linking the images, lasers, and artificial sea of clouds, it became an immersive entertainment experience in which light and images were spread across the entire upper pond.

"Umichu" (Ueike Suhama area)

"Kaichu" is an installation space of the sea and the moon, where a giant 5m diameter "moon" shaped object is installed. The moon is reflected on the water's surface, creating a fantastic space. The stepping stones on the sandy beach garden path are equipped with sensory experiences for visitors and black light play experiences, so visitors can not only enjoy watching, but also have an interactive experience of touching and playing on the "beach" of the Japanese garden with the fantastic moon as a backdrop.

"Resonance" (Azuma)

In "Resonance," spheres of light hung from the gazebo continue to glow steadily, as if to mark the passage of time. When visitors begin to keep the rhythm by clapping their hands or other means, the steady rhythm of the light changes into a rhythm that the visitors are playing. Furthermore, the lights in the forest beyond the gazebo also light up in sync, allowing you to experience that rhythm throughout the entire space. The senses of sight and sound come together to create a sensation of "you resonating with the garden," providing a new, interactive experience in which visitors can participate.

"Point origin" (Garden Forest)

As you make your way through the garden's forest, which is normally off-limits to the public, you'll come across "Point Origin," a geometric space that uses LED lighting. This space represents the idea that points connect to form lines, and lines connect to form objects. This photogenic exploration route is a great place to take photos while you stroll.

"Infinity" (Garden Forest)

The final content is "Infinity." As you proceed through the forest of the garden, the fluorescent light created by tens of thousands of lasers will lead you into a mysterious space. You can experience the infinite space with all your senses on an overwhelming scale.

This is a limited-time event where you can enjoy mysterious art. Please come and visit. (Text/ARNE Editorial Department)
