[Children's indoor playground] Free for 0-year-olds! Experience report of "Earth Garden" at AEON Mall Fukuoka

This time we would like to introduce "Chikyu no Niwa Fukuoka Store," a new spot recommended for families that opened on April 25, 2025.
This indoor playground is themed around the earth and nature, and offers a wide variety of experiences that allow you to learn while you play!
"Chikyu no Niwa Fukuoka" is an indoor play spot where you can learn about the Earth while having fun (Kasuya-machi, Kasuya-gun)
The Chikyu no Niwa Fukuoka store opened on the second floor of Aeon Mall Fukuoka in Kasuya-gun. The facility is aimed at children aged 0 to 12 and their guardians, and allows them to learn about the fascinating world and the importance of nature while playing.

The Fukuoka store is the 10th Chikyu no Niwa store and the first in Kyushu, and it has been a hot topic since before it opened.
Rates are based on time and there are various pricing structures; for example, on weekdays the first 60 minutes is 1,000 yen for children (ages 1-12) and 500 yen for adults, and on weekends and holidays the first 60 minutes is 1,200 yen for children and 600 yen for adults.
Also, the weekday-only 1-day pass is a great deal, with unlimited play all day for 1,500 yen for children and 900 yen for adults! Children under 1 year old can enter for free (proof of age must be presented at the time of admission).

*Please make sure to have one parent or guardian (aged 16 or over) accompany you when using the facility.
*Children aged 13 to 15 in the same group can enter at the adult rate.
*During school holiday periods (spring break, Golden Week, summer vacation, winter vacation, etc.), holiday rates will apply even on weekdays.
*During the Golden Week period, from April 29th (Tuesday, national holiday) to May 6th (Tuesday, compensatory holiday), holiday rates will be applied even on weekdays.
A volcano erupts!? Seven themed areas and exciting play equipment will get you excited!
"Earth's Garden" has seven themed areas: sky, volcano, geological layer, iceberg, city, mountain, and forest. Each area has a completely different atmosphere and way to play.

As we passed through the "Sky Area" at the entrance, the first thing the kids jumped at was the giant volcano-shaped play equipment in the "Volcano Area"!

If you put a ball into the "volcano" in the center of the ball pool, which is modeled after magma, it will erupt and the ball will fly out. Adults can also enter the pool, so you can have fun together with the children.

The iceberg-inspired slide is also very popular!

No need to worry about getting dirty! Have fun playing in the sand
The "Strata Area" has a sandbox with smooth, antibacterial sand, where you can have fun playing in the sand to your heart's content.

Aprons and boots are provided so you don't have to worry about getting your clothes dirty.

There is also a sandbox where you can play while sitting on chairs, so it is a great design for parents with small children. It is also easy for wheelchair users to play in the sand.

Become a store clerk! Pretend play is authentic and fun ♪

There are a variety of shops such as a hamburger shop, a flower shop, and an ice cream shop, so you can have fun together.

The facility is fully-fledged, and the realistic props are sure to excite you. At the "Takoyaki & Okonomiyaki Shop," even the smallest details are faithfully recreated, such as the shrimp and scallops that change color when flipped over on the hot plate.

The "Mountain Area" is a great place for families with small children to have fun. The ball pool for 0-2 year olds is surrounded by soft materials and is perfectly safe.

Enjoyable learning events about the Earth held every day
The last area we visited was the Forest Area, where we had lots of fun in a dome filled with giant balloons floating around!

In addition, there are workshops and nature-themed events held every day, including crafts using recycled materials, so you can learn about the Earth in a fun way!

On the day we visited, there was a tour where we learned about nature while exploring the museum, and we were given a stamp after the tour. It seems like every time we go, we have a new experience.
