Today we would like to introduce you to the much talked about lifestyle hotel ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL, which is scheduled to open on April 24th, 2025 on the top floors (18th and 19th floors) of ONE FUKUOKA BLDG., commonly known as One Building.

ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL was opened in Fukuoka by Nishi-Nippon Railroad and Plan-Do-See Co., Ltd., which also operates WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA (Hakata) and THE LUIGANS SPA & RESORT (Saitozaki).
The most attractive thing about this hotel is that it is located in ONE FUKUOKA BLDG., which is conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station and directly connected to Tenjin Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line. It is an ideal location for business or sightseeing.

The entrance is on the 19th floor. There is a fireplace at the front, and outside the large windows there is a wonderful view that only a high-rise floor can offer! It is full of a sense of openness, and you can experience a sense of the extraordinary. The Japanese modern interior is also wonderful.
Another highlight is the exhibition of works by Noritaka Tatehana, a popular artist who has been active in a wide range of fields, including holding a Bunraku performance at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain in Paris. From works that utilize traditional craft techniques to contemporary paintings, it is a space that stimulates the senses.
There are about 80 artworks in the hotel alone! There are also artworks scattered around the lobby and other areas that even non-guests can enjoy.
Another unique feature is the "GARDEN TERRACE" (exclusive to guests) on the 18th floor, which is an open-air terrace with lush greenery! There are tables and seats, so you can relax while enjoying the fresh air.

Also on the 18th floor is the LIBRARY LOUNGE (exclusive to hotel guests, 6:00-22:00), which is lined with a variety of books, including those related to Fukuoka. Self-service coffee, tea, ice cream, light snacks, and more are available for free.

There are 41 rooms (35 to 64 square meters) in total across eight types of rooms, from standard to suites, including some with terraces and some with studies facing the lush courtyard. We were given a special tour of three of the most iconic rooms.
TENJIN CORNER TERRACE SUITE
There are two "TENJIN CORNER TERRACE SUITES" (reference price 171,000-350,000 yen, tax and service charges included) which are special corner suites. This luxurious space has a 43 square meter terrace within a 62 square meter room.

The highlight of this room is undoubtedly the spacious 43 square meter terrace! Relaxing on the daybed while looking down on the Tenjin cityscape is truly an exquisite experience.

Another appealing feature of this corner room is that you can enjoy different views, with the Fukuoka cityscape on the left and Hakata Bay on the right.

THE ONE FUKUOKA SUITE
Our next pick is THE ONE FUKUOKA SUITE, the only room on the top floor of the hotel (reference price: 123,000-273,000 yen, tax and service charges included).

The spacious 64 square meter room is equipped with a counter kitchen combined with a dining area. It is a relaxing space perfect for long-term stays or workation.

SIGNATURE KING
"SIGNATURE KING" on the 18th floor (reference price: 54,000-130,000 yen, tax and service charges included) features eye-catching traditional "shitomido" doors on the corridor side.

Inside the "shitomido" (sliding door) is the "study" space, where you can enjoy the soothing, lush scenery of the aforementioned "GARDEN TERRACE."

The interior is 36 square meters and the terrace is 7 square meters. The sophisticated interior design makes it a relaxing space where you can feel the nature.

Other rooms available include the "TENJIN CORNER SUITE," "COMFORT SUITE," "TERRACE TWIN," "TERRACE KING," and "SUPERIOR KING."
Large public bath and sauna available
The 18th floor is equipped with a large public bath and sauna exclusively for guests.
Another great thing about the large public bath is that it can be used for long periods of time, from 6:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 25:00.

The "sauna" in the "large bath" is a high-temperature dry sauna and cold bath where you can sweat profusely. The men's bath is equipped with a tower-type stove called "iki," which allows you to enjoy self-loyly, which is irresistible for sauna lovers!

You can also go out onto the wooden deck and relax while taking in the refreshing scenery and night view.
Four restaurants where you can spend a special time
You should also check out the restaurants that you can enjoy even if you are not staying overnight.
On the 19th floor, there are three establishments: the rooftop cafe and bar "THE ROOF," the restaurant "WAN STEAK HOUSE" where you can enjoy teppanyaki at the counter, and "THE KITCHEN," an all-day dining restaurant serving dishes made with ingredients from Kyushu. Also, on the first floor of "ONE FUKUOKA BLDG." along Meiji Dori, there is the cafe "THE CAFE by ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL."
THE KITCHEN
Right next to the lobby is the all-day dining restaurant "THE KITCHEN." In addition to serving breakfast to guests, it is also open to non-guests for lunch from 11:30 to 15:30 (last orders at 14:30) and dinner from 17:30 to 22:00 (last orders at 21:00).

The table seats by the window are in a luxurious location with a panoramic view of the Tenjin streetscape. In addition, the kitchen is located in the center of the restaurant, so you can enjoy watching the chefs in action right before your eyes, creating a sense of realism.

For lunch, we offer the "Pasta Lunch" (2,500 - 2,700 yen) which includes an appetizer, a choice of pasta, bread, and coffee or tea, and the "Main Lunch" (2,900 - 5,500 yen) which includes an appetizer, a choice of main dish, bread, and coffee or tea.
For dinner, there is a wide variety of a la carte dishes, from appetizers, cold and hot dishes, main dishes, pasta, and desserts. One dish we highly recommend is the "Sautéed Foie Gras with Saffron-Flavored Baked Risotto" (2,300 yen).

The balance between the creamy foie gras and the risotto was exquisite. The size of the foie gras was also generous, making this a special dish.
The menu consists mainly of ala carte items, but the "TASTING COURSE" (7,000 yen), which offers six of their signature dishes at a great price, is also popular.

By the way, from August 2025, they plan to start offering a limited number of "breakfast" sets for general customers that include a buffet and a choice of main dish! We're looking forward to it.

THE ROOF
THE ROOF is a rooftop cafe and bar where you can enjoy the sunset and night view while looking out over Hakata Bay. It operates as a cafe from 10:30 to 17:00 and as a bar from 17:00 to 24:00 (last orders 23:00).
The "large water basin" on the terrace is said to be modeled after the "water mirror" in which Tenjin-sama Sugawara no Michizane is said to have reflected his image. The view of the shimmering water surface is also soothing.

The "Summer Tropical Afternoon Tea" (6,000 yen per person *service charge not included) is currently available for a limited time of 20 groups per day from July 1st to August 31st, 2025. Reservations must be made by 9:00 the morning before, and the tea is served from 12:00 to 18:00 (last orders 16:00).
Enjoy five kinds of summery desserts made with plenty of tropical fruits, including a tartlet made with Miyazaki mango and coconut. Enjoy a satisfying moment with some carefully selected tea.

WAN STEAK HOUSE
WAN STEAK HOUSE is a teppanyaki restaurant where high-quality ingredients from Kyushu, such as high-quality Japanese Black Beef and carefully selected vegetables, are beautifully grilled right in front of you at the counter.
You can enjoy a 5,500 yen course for lunch from 11:30 to 15:30 (last order 14:30), and a 13,000 yen course for dinner from 17:30 to 22:00 (last order 21:00).

THE CAFE by ONE FUKUOKA HOTEL
"THE CAFE" is a cafe run directly by the hotel and located on the first floor of "ONE FUKUOKA BLDG."
You can enjoy the "Milk Soft Serve" (700 yen), which is made using the highest quality Hokkaido milk and a machine that makes it melt in your mouth, and the "ONE Coffee Jelly" (800 yen), which is made by turning the hotel's original blend "One Blend" coffee into a jelly.

There are also take-out items available, such as the special "Financier" (400 yen) and "Basque Cheesecake" (12cm whole cake for 3,500 yen), making them perfect for gifts.
