Tenjin becomes a pedestrian zone! A market where you can enjoy freshly made gourmet food (March 29th and 30th)

Fuku Marche, which regularly holds food markets, and We Love Tenjin Council, which promotes urban development in Tenjin, have teamed up to hold a special market for two days only.

A pedestrian paradise has arrived in Tenjin! Marche to be held on March 29th (Sat) and 30th (Sun) "TENJIN STREET STAGE with FUKU MARCHE"

"TENJIN STREET STAGE with FUKU MARCHE" will be held for the first time in Tenjin for two days on March 29th (Sat) and 30th (Sun), 2025. Approximately 25 stores will open each day, offering the flavors of spring from all over Kyushu.

The venue is right in the middle of Tenjin! Just a three-minute walk from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, the "City Road Tenjin No. 4" that connects the square in front of Fukuoka City Hall to Watanabedori Street will be transformed into a pedestrian paradise during the event.

The Marche will feature a large collection of freshly picked vegetables, carefully selected sweets, local food and drinks, all grouped under the themes of "organic," "produced in Kyushu," and "seasonal deliciousness."

Now, let's check out the fun that's on offer today.

Asparagus is also sold by weight! A wide variety of seasonal produce is available, including strawberries and blood oranges.

A wide variety of seasonal agricultural products will be on display at the venue! Freshly picked spring produce from all over Kyushu will be delivered directly by producers.

There are plenty of foods you can only find here, such as asparagus sold by weight so you can "choose only the amount you want," craft cheese made by an Italian owner using 100% raw milk from Kashima City, strawberries certified as Fukuoka eco-agricultural products, and blood oranges from Nokonoshima, Fukuoka Prefecture, which are rare in Japan. Another great thing about this market is that you can enjoy conversations with the producers while you make your purchase.

Enjoy freshly made food made with Kyushu ingredients, as well as beer and other drinks on the spot!

There's a wide selection of carefully crafted dishes on offer, including oven-baked pizza made by farmers using vegetables they grew in their own fields, pasta made with ingredients from Kumamoto, yakiniku bowls made with A5-grade Japanese beef raised by the family, and grilled shiitake mushrooms delivered by farmers who grow shiitake mushrooms on logs in the depths of the mountains of Oita!

Special sweets and processed foods made with carefully selected ingredients

There is also a wide selection of sweets made with healthy ingredients, such as fermented ice cream and seasonal tarts.

Processed products such as "cheese made from raw milk from Fukuoka" and "kimchi made with plump wood ear mushrooms from Itoshima" will also be available.

This Marche will be a collaboration with the "One Person, One Flower" Spring Festival, which is being promoted by Fukuoka City. The venue will be covered with artificial turf and decorated with spring-like flowers, so we are looking forward to the atmosphere of the venue.
