A private sauna that requires a reservation only: "SAUNA Giraffe Nantenjin" (Mukaino, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City)
The private sauna "SAUNA Giraffe Nantenjin" opened on February 15, 2025, a 10-minute walk from Nishitetsu Ohashi Station and right in front of Fukuoka City Tamagawa Elementary School.
This sauna is like a hideaway, renovated from a room in a 47-year-old retro building.

Upon entering, you'll be surprised by the stylish space that gives no indication of its age! Proceeding down the stone-paved corridor, you'll find two rooms, "Japanese Silence" and "Alternating Hot and Cold."

This sauna is completely reservation-only, has an auto-lock function and is unmanned. Reservations can be made via the website, and once the reservation is complete, an "entry passcode" will be sent to you.
Reservations start from 120 minutes, and are 6,500 yen for 1 person (120 minutes), 8,500 yen for 2 people (120 minutes), 10,500 yen for 3 people (120 minutes), and 12,500 yen for 4 people (120 minutes). Open from 8:30am to 1:30am.
A soothing space! "Japanese Silence" Room
First, let us introduce you to the "Japanese Silence" room.
The sauna space is decorated with tatami mats and is modeled after a teahouse, and the relaxation space has an impressive openwork design that gives it a Japanese feel.

You can do a self-loulu once every 15 minutes. It's nice to scoop water from the kettle with a ladle and pour it onto the sauna stones.

The tatami-floored sauna room is also equipped with benches. You can lie down or sit on it however you like, in a private sauna.

After coming out of the sauna, you can enjoy a nostalgic cold bath in a tub (deep and easy to use!) and a relaxation space equipped with Coleman infinity chairs. The dim lighting invites you to relax even more.

You can also use the sauna for a cold bath! "Alternating hot and cold" room
The other sauna room, "Alternating Hot and Cold," features an urban and stylish design.

This room has a cold bath attached to the sauna, allowing you to efficiently alternate between hot and cold baths.

Both saunas are equipped with the Estonian-made heater ``HUUM,'' and ``SAUNA Giraffe Nantenjin'' is said to be the first in Fukuoka to adopt this heater!
The rounded, modern design is eye-catching. You can enjoy self-louvering and Aufguss, and experience the sauna in your own style.
