[2024 Illuminations] Santa appears every day! "Canal City Hakata" Christmas event

We are currently introducing illuminations from all over Fukuoka Prefecture.

This time, we will be visiting Canal City Hakata, located in Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. In the period leading up to Christmas, you can enjoy the Canal Aqua Panorama, where Santa will make an appearance.

[Free viewing] 3D projection mapping, fountains, music, and lights all working together! Limited time show "CANAL CHRISTMAS MIRACLE OF LIGHT" until December 25th

"Canal Aqua Panorama" is an entertainment show (free to watch) that combines 3D projection mapping with fountains, music, and lights.

This year's Christmas season, the new production "CANAL CHRISTMAS MIRACLE OF LIGHT" is being performed. You will have the chance to enjoy it four times a day, at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, and 21:00, every day until December 25, 2024 (Wednesday) ♪ *The performance schedule may change or be canceled without notice.

The venue is the Sun Plaza Stage on the B1F, but you can also watch from the upper floors.

The story goes something like this: "Christmas is here, and the town is filled with illuminations, with the main object at the center! Just as preparations are complete for a fun party, an ominous shadow appears....A mysterious man dressed in all black appears and steals the light, putting the merry Christmas in grave danger! A disappointed Santa Claus is suddenly approached by a "light fairy" who uses her magic to bring back the Christmas light...!?"

The 4m-tall light sculpture "Light of Hope" (first appearance in 2024!) will twinkle in time with the show, and snow will fall. There's a lot to see.

This is surely the only place where you can see such a special show where illuminations, sounds, images, and fountains are all linked together! Whether you go with your family, as a couple, or with friends, you're sure to have fun.

2024 illuminations have started to light up throughout the entire building!

The illuminations, which had been turned on in advance in certain areas, will now be lit up throughout the entire building, creating an even more dazzling space.

There are plenty of photo spots to take photos at, such as the "Wall of Light" (around the Sun Plaza Stage on B1F), "Gate of Light" (Moonwalk on B1F), "River of Light" (Canal on B1F), and "Aqua Tree" (Canal on B1F)♪
