Kyushu's only kids course! "Forest Adventure Yoshinogari" is a place parents and children can enjoy together!

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.

This time, we will introduce activity spots in Yoshinogari Town, Kanzaki District, Saga Prefecture that parents and children can enjoy together.

Fun for the whole family! An outdoor park in the forest, "Adventure Valley SAGA" (Yoshinogari Town, Saga Prefecture)

About an hour's drive from Fukuoka city and about eight minutes from the Higashi-Sefuri Interchange on the Nagasaki Expressway, is the largest outdoor park in western Japan, "Adventure Valley SAGA."

This is a complex leisure facility where you can enjoy "Forest Adventure Yoshinogari," where you can experience treetop activities, "Trail Adventure Yoshinogari," where you can ride through the forest on mountain bikes and other equipment, and the "Zip Trip Course," where you can slide down from mountain to mountain for a maximum distance of approximately 270 meters.

The concept is "children for adults, adults for children." The whole family can have fun moving their bodies to their heart's content in the great outdoors.

Forest Adventure Yoshinogari: Enjoy three courses with different levels of difficulty

This time we experienced "Forest Adventure"!

Special courses are laid out throughout the forest, and visitors can cross from one platform, built on treetops several meters above their heads, to the next platform, and finally slide down on a zip slide, or enjoy an aerial stroll or swim in the air.

When you arrive, first check in at the front desk.

There are three types of courses: the "Adventure Course" (Standard Plan 4,000 yen, Excite Plan 5,800 yen) for those in the 4th grade or older or those over 140cm tall; the "Canopy Course" (3,000 yen) for those over 110cm tall; and the "Kids Course" (45 minutes, 1,700 yen) for those over 90cm tall.

Gloves can be purchased at the front desk for 300 yen, but we recommend bringing your own if you need them.

I'll introduce them in order.

The only place in Kyushu! Kids Course available for children over 90cm tall

First, let's start with the "Kids Course" which my 5-year-old and 7-year-old daughters tried.
*Available for children over 90cm tall and up to third grade. A guardian over 18 must accompany children from the ground. Up to four children per guardian can play for 45 minutes.

The staff will help you put on a harness, watch a DVD with instructions, and show you how to use the equipment, and then you're ready to start!

We forgot to do it in our case, but I think it's best to wear clothes that expose less skin to prevent injury. Skirts are not allowed because you will be wearing a harness.

Although it is set at a lower elevation of about 1 to 2 meters, the course is constructed in the same way as the "Adventure Course." You can experience full-scale activities.

The staff kindly explained everything to me at first, so I was able to enjoy myself without worry.

The kids were especially excited about the zip slide!

"Canopy Course" that can be enjoyed by people of all ages

Next up was the Canopy Course, which was experienced by a 7-year-old daughter and her husband.
*Children up to the second grade of elementary school must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or over. Third grade and above do not require guardian participation, but supervision from the ground is required. Up to four children can be accompanied by one guardian. The average duration is one hour.

It's recommended for children as well as adults trying it for the first time.

The height and difficulty is lower than the "Adventure Course," but it is still significantly higher and more difficult than the "Kids Course."

My daughter was a little scared at first because it shook and shook, but gradually she started to enjoy the thrill.

My daughter was hooked on the zip slide that lets you slide down from the treetops to the ground. It made her feel like Tarzan (lol).
