This time, we went to "WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA", which reopened on September 5, 2024!

5 minutes walk from Hakata Station! Urban resort hotel "WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA" (Hakata Station South, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA is located in Hakata Station South, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. It is about a 5-minute walk south (towards Takeshita) from the Chikushi exit of JR Hakata Station.

Despite its location, once you step inside you'll find an extraordinary resort space that will help you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
You can enjoy high-quality interior design, art, music, and cuisine inspired by Palm Springs, California on the west coast of the United States.

With this latest renovation, the hotel has been further enhanced with the concept of "an urban resort hotel that invites you to an extraordinary experience."
Let me introduce it to you right away.
"All Day Dining cotton." - Main dining and bar integrated
One of the highlights of this renovation is that the main dining area "cotton." and the bar "on the deck-Bar lounge-" have been integrated and reborn as an all-day dining establishment! Another point is that it is easy to enter from Chikushiguchi-dori street, which the hotel faces.

The menu is a lineup that incorporates California's food culture, but the ingredients used are carefully selected from the best in Japan, mainly from Kyushu. The restaurant is suitable for all occasions, including cafe, lunch, dinner, and bar.

The seating options include tables, sofas, and private rooms. You can also enjoy the photogenic art displayed throughout the restaurant.

There are 2,000 records on the bar counter. You can have a great time listening to the music, whether you're alone or with someone.

This time, I ordered the staff recommended "Lunch Course" (2,900 yen). It includes appetizer, bread, pasta, main course, dessert, and coffee or tea after the meal. The menu changes from time to time as seasonal ingredients are used.

I'll tell you about what I ate that day.
The appetizer was "Sea bass and black radish with green yuzu vinaigrette." This dish featured thick sea bass and fresh vegetables in a refreshing, fragrant green yuzu sauce. It had a refreshing taste that was perfect for starting the course.

The pasta was "Pomodoro with Burrata Cheese". The noodles were thick and filling. The smoothness of the cheese and the savory and sour taste of the tomato sauce were well balanced.

The main dish is "Grilled Keiju Mochi Pork." You can also change it to "Grilled Beef Skirt Steak" for an additional 900 yen.

The tender and juicy Keiju Mochi Pork is topped with a pepper sauce made with soy sauce, apple vinegar, and lime juice to bring out its flavor. Not only the meat, but even the savory charred bits of the grilled vegetables are absolutely delicious!

For dessert, you can choose from "Key lime pie," "Tiramisu," "Japanese chestnut mille-feuille," "Shine Muscat Pavlova," and "Basque cheesecake (+500 yen)." This time, I chose the "Shine Muscat Pavlova."
The crispy, light, and sweet Pavlova was perfectly matched with the refreshing mint and mountain grape ice cream. With the refreshing sweetness of fresh Shine Muscat grapes, you can enjoy a variety of flavors in one dish.

Other lunch options include the "Salad Lunch" (1,700 yen), "Pasta Lunch" (1,500 yen), and "Grill Lunch" (2,200 to 3,100 yen). You can also just order sweets or coffee.

The poolside restaurant has been renovated into a private party venue
The poolside space on the first floor, which was previously a restaurant, has been renovated into a private party venue.

In addition to this space, there are five other venues with different concepts within the building, ranging from an intimate venue that can accommodate 32 people seated to a large venue that can accommodate 180. It's great to be able to choose a venue based on the number of people and the concept.
Another great thing about the venues is that they are all equipped with open kitchens, so you can enjoy piping hot food.

By the way, the popular chapel is the only one in Fukuoka that is built in a theater style with a slope, so the two main performers can be seen clearly even from the back seats.

The guest rooms have also been renovated to be more user-friendly.
There are only 16 rooms in total, and the luxurious guest rooms are mainly double or king sized, but with this renovation they can now be changed to twin sized. There is a wide variety of rooms, from modern design rooms to rooms that give off the atmosphere of an overseas resort.
This time, we had the opportunity to see the suite room (from 100,000 yen for two people)!
There is one Hollywood twin bed (double size), but it can be changed to a twin type.

Located on the top floor, the bathroom of this room has a skylight in the atrium ceiling, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious bath time while basking in the sunlight and glow of the stars.

The amenities include items from the highly functional skincare brand "oltana"! You can take these home with you!

There is also terrace seating, where you can relax and enjoy the view of the palm trees in front of you.

In addition to tea and welcome snacks, the minibar (fridge) also contains complimentary sparkling wine, beer, and coffee.
By the way, those who hold their wedding ceremony at "WITH THE STYLE FUKUOKA" can stay in this suite for two nights as a "stay wedding." Another convenience unique to "stay weddings" is that you can get ready in your room on the day of the wedding.
Breakfast the day after your stay is all-inclusive, so there is no extra charge. It is a buffet style where you can enjoy as much as you like of whatever you like from 7:30 to 12:00 (last order). You can also have it in your room by ordering room service.
Also, be sure to check out the Club Lounge, which is only available to guests staying at the hotel. Alcoholic drinks, light meals, sweets, and more are available. Opening hours are divided into "Evening Tea" from 14:00 to 20:00 (last orders 19:30) and "Nightcap" from 20:00 to 23:00 (minors not allowed). You can use it in a variety of ways, such as for an aperitif before dinner, coffee after a meal, or a drink before bed.
Reservations required! Jacuzzi and sauna exclusively for guests staying overnight
But that's not all the fun exclusive to guests staying at the hotel.
As a sauna lover, I was looking forward to the sauna in this renovation! It has been newly installed in the "Jacuzzi" on the top floor terrace, which is only available to guests staying at the hotel.

Saunas in hotels can sometimes be hard to enjoy because they don't have a cold bath or relaxation space, but this sauna is equipped with a cold bath, an indoor relaxation space, and an outdoor bathing space, which is a great plus!

You can fully enjoy the resort atmosphere, to the point that you'll forget that you're near Hakata Station.

The jacuzzi and sauna are available 24 hours a day and require a reservation. Both men and women can use them, provided they wear swimsuits.

After the sauna, we were able to enjoy free cold drinks such as beer, craft cola, Oronamin C, and Pocari Sweat (which when mixed together make the sauna staple "Oropo"!).
