[Itoshima outing] 10 minutes from Shiraito Falls! A hidden spot where you can enjoy a luxurious BBQ and playing in the river

We will introduce you to facilities that are perfect for summer vacation outings, which were visited on the "Ah ne! Like! Live" segment of "Mentai Wide."

Just under an hour's drive from Fukuoka city! A hidden summer getaway: "Yama no Garden" (Itoshima City)

"Yama no Garden" is located about 45 minutes by car from the center of Fukuoka City and about 10 minutes by car down from Shiraito Falls, a famous summer outing spot in Itoshima City.

This is a spot rich in nature where you can enjoy barbecues and playing in the river while listening to the murmuring of the clear stream.

In fact, this is an outdoor facility affiliated with the popular shaved ice shop "Murakami-ya," which is a popular stopover spot along with Shiraito Falls. It is located just a one-minute walk from "Murakami-ya"!

Enjoy an authentic barbecue using carefully selected meat from our yakiniku restaurant while feeling the nature around you!

The appeal of the barbecue at "Yama no Garden" is that the ingredients and tools are all provided so you can enjoy it empty-handed. There are two areas.

One is the "Everyone's BBQ Area" where you can enjoy a lively atmosphere with table seats (2,400 yen per person *for 4 people). Each section is limited to 4 people, has a 2-hour limit between 10:00 and 17:00, and you cannot bring in food. You can also make a reservation on the day.

The other is the "Slightly higher BBQ area" (2,940 yen per person for 6 people), which is a more private area with a mosquito net (2,940 yen per person for 6 people). There is a maximum of 6 people per area, and there are two sessions (3 hours) from 10:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 17:00. You can bring your own drinks with this course.

The meat is provided by the nearby affiliated yakiniku restaurant "Kami no Yakinikuya." It is served in a tiered box and looks luxurious.

This is the "Beef Tongue and Kuroge Wagyu Beef Set" (6 servings, 5,700 yen). It's very filling and filling!

Enjoying a barbecue with the sound of a babbling river as background music against the backdrop of lush nature is the ultimate luxury!

In addition to the barbecue, you can also enjoy light meals such as "Curry made with only Wagyu beef" (850 yen), potatoes, and drinks (from 500 yen) at the food stalls within the facility.

In addition to those using the barbecue, visitors can also use the river play area within Mountain Garden by ordering snacks and drinks per person.

It can be 5 degrees cooler than in the city! Enjoy a cool river swim at the source of Shiraito Falls, which is only available to visitors.

The river play area is located a little way down on the premises, and the shade of the trees and the water of the river make it feel cool!

On this day, while the maximum temperature in Itoshima City exceeded 35°C, the temperature around this water play area was below 30°C as measured by a thermometer.

Since this is the source of Shiraito Falls, it's very cool!

The water is about ankle deep for adults, so even small children can easily play in it.

Enjoy Showa-era activities such as "crayfish fishing" and "catching trout"

Don't miss out on the exciting paid activities.

"Crayfish fishing" (300 yen for 30 minutes) is something that is hard to find these days.

Even small children can easily try it, and everyone seemed to enjoy participating on the day.

You can also enjoy "yamame trout fishing" and "yamame trout catching" (1,500 yen for 30 minutes, up to 2 fish).

It seems that adults often have a harder time catching yamame trout, while children are usually more skilled at it.

Even if you are unable to catch one, you will be compensated with one fish, and you can have the yamame grilled with salt. In addition to catching the whole trout, there is also a single item, "Grilled yamame with salt" (700 yen).

The "Mountain Garden" was created during the Showa era with the hope that people would enjoy playing in nature.
