"Marinoa City Fukuoka" sale and event information! Plenty of fun until closing on August 18th

Marinoa City Fukuoka will close on Sunday, August 18, 2024, bringing to a close its 24-year history.

In the lead up to the closing, a variety of unique initiatives will be implemented as part of a closing promotion called "GOOD BUY MARINOA!!" with the catchphrase "Shopping is the best after all."

This time, we will introduce the first and second parts of the "Closing Campaign" to be held in May and June, as well as the first part of the "Closing Sale."

[May 25th (Sat) - 31st (Fri)] Closing Campaign Part 1: "Garapon Ferris Wheel"

The Garapon Ferris Wheel can be enjoyed from Saturday, May 25th to Friday, May 31st.

The Ferris wheel, Sky Wheel, the symbol of Marinoa City Fukuoka, will be transformed into a giant Garapon.

The process for participating is the same as for a regular ride; simply purchase a ticket from the ticket machine and board the gondola.

Inside the gondola there are panels that say either "Super Big Win," "Big Win," or "No Win," so if it's a "Super Big Win" or "Big Win," you get off the gondola with the panel.

If you submit your panel to staff, you will receive a shopping voucher worth 5,000 yen for the "super winner" or a shopping voucher worth 1,000 yen for the "grand winner."

There are a total of 364 winning tickets. The gondola decorated for the event may not be the winning one, so you have the same chance no matter which gondola you ride!

＜Overview of the "Garapon Ferris Wheel" Event＞
Period: Saturday, May 25th to Friday, May 31st, 2024
Time: 10:00-17:00
Location: Marina Side North Building 2F "Sky Wheel" Ferris Wheel
Price: Regular ride fare (500 yen for adults, 200 yen for elementary school students, free for children under elementary school age / 1,000 yen for one gondola (up to 4 people))

*If an elementary school-aged child is riding alone and hits the "super jackpot," the shopping voucher will be worth 4,000 yen (if it hits the "jackpot," it will be 1,000 yen).
*The event may be canceled due to weather or maintenance.

[June 1st (Sat) - 27th (Thu)] Closing Sale Part 1 "Marinoa End of the Year Sale"

From June 1st (Saturday) to June 27th (Thursday), we will be holding the first part of our closing sale, "Marinoa: The End Begins Sale." It's a big sale with up to 80% off!

115 stores are participating. A wide variety of items will be discounted, from items and accessories that will be useful in the coming season, to sports goods and kitchen goods!

[Saturdays and Sundays only, June 1st (Sat) to 23rd (Sun)] Closing Campaign Part 2 "Owari"

The "Owari" event, named after the museum's closure, will be held only on weekends from June 1st (Saturday) to June 23rd (Sunday).

The first 200 people each day, those whose first name begins with "O", will receive a 500 yen discount coupon at the special counter near the information desk on the first floor of Outlet Building I (can be used when purchasing a purchase of 1,000 yen or more).

Please note that surnames are not included.

＜Overview of "Owari" Event＞
Period: June 1st (Sat) to June 23rd (Sun) 2024 *Saturdays and Sundays only
Time: 10:00-18:00 (Ends when capacity is reached)
Location: Outlet Building I, 1F, special counter near the information desk

*You will be asked to show your identification documents when you check in.
*To prevent fraud, your name and date of birth will be recorded based on your identification document.
*When receiving the discount coupon, you will need to fill out a receipt.
*Each person may only participate once during the period.
